Denver Pioneers win 8th Men's Hockey Championship.

Way to go!!

Have not met any fellow Pioneers here in the Villages but a few dozen people from the U of MN in the Twin Cities. Not many from the U of MN-- Duluth.

Was looking for rubber chickens being thrown on the ice skating rink but did not see any while I was watching the last ten minutes of the 3rd period of this exciting game. U of MN- Duluth came close to winning and the puck seemed to be in front of Denver's goalie much of that time.

I used to go to some of these games when I was at the U of Denver. Had worked three jobs at various times-- some simultaneously-- while getting my MA in Librarianship and Information Management. Probably with my male roommates and female friends like Cheryl, Nancy, Sandra, Liz, etc.
