He said he wouldn’t bomb Syria. You bought it. Then he bombed Syria.
He said he’d build a wall along the border with Mexico. You bought it. Now his secretary of homeland security says “It’s unlikely that we will build a wall.”
He said he’d clean the Washington swamp. You bought it. Then he brought into his administration more billionaires, CEOs, and Wall Street moguls than in any administration in history, to make laws that will enrich their businesses.
He said he’d repeal Obamacare and replace it with something “wonderful.” You bought it. Then he didn’t.
He said he’d use his business experience to whip the White House into shape. You bought it. Then he created the most chaotic, dysfunctional, back-stabbing White House in modern history, in which no one is in charge.
He said he’d release his tax returns, eventually. You bought it. He hasn’t, and says he never will.
He said he’d divest himself from his financial empire, to avoid any conflicts of interest. You bought it. He remains heavily involved in his businesses, makes money off of foreign dignitaries staying at his Washington hotel, gets China to give the Trump brand trademark and copyright rights, manipulates the stock market on a daily basis, and has more conflicts of interest than can even be counted.
He said Clinton was in the pockets of Goldman Sachs, and would do whatever they said. You bought it. Then he put half a dozen Goldman Sachs executives in positions of power in his administration.
He said he’d surround himself with all the best and smartest people. You bought it. Then he put Betsy DeVos, opponent of public education, in charge of education; Jeff Sessions, opponent of the Voting Rights Act, in charge of voting rights; Ben Carson, opponent of the Fair Housing Act, in charge of fair housing; Scott Pruitt, climate change denier, in charge of the Environmental Protection Agency; and Russian quisling Rex Tillerson as Secretary of State.
He said he’d faithfully execute the law. You bought it. Then he said his predecessor, Barack Obama, spied on him, without any evidence of Obama ever doing so, in order to divert attention from the FBI’s investigation into collusion between his campaign and Russian operatives to win the election.
He said he knew more about strategy and terrorism than the generals did. You bought it. Then he green lighted a disastrous raid in Yemen- even though his generals said it would be a terrible idea. This raid resulted in the deaths of a Navy SEAL, an 8-year old American girl, and numerous civilians. The actual target of the raid escaped, and no useful intel was gained
He called Barack Obama “the vacationer-in-Chief” and accused him of playing more rounds of golf than Tiger Woods. He promised to never be the kind of president who took cushy vacations on the taxpayer’s dime, not when there was so much important work to be done. You bought it. He has by now spent more taxpayer money on vacations than Obama did in the first 3 years of his presidency. Not to mention all the money taxpayers are spending protecting his family, including his two sons who travel all over the world on Trump business.
He called CNN, the Washington Post and the New York Times “fake news” and said they were his enemy. You bought it. Now he gets his information from Fox News, Breitbart, Gateway Pundit, and InfoWars.

Let me say this.......THIS WAS PREDICTED PRIOR TO HIS NOMINATION AND THE PRIMARIES, thus Clinton has nothing to do with it. I say that because the "fall back" is always and forever....Clinton and/or Obama. Neither had anything to do with this ever or at all in anyway.
I, and others kept telling you that you are being conned and you have been conned and he has a while to go yet. I am betting we not only do not know everything we will learn, but how erratic he will become...so now to that resume add.....lied his way to the candidacy.
I happen to support many of the policies but that does not take away from the fact that we now have a CINC that cannot ever be trusted.

Many of the Trump Trumpeteers know this to be true, but their pride and ego will not allow them to admit what a dangerous buffoon he is in office. I just hope we have a country left when he is finally swept from office.

Clinton actually won the popular vote and if not for the meddling of James Comey, the FBI Director as well as a large number of paid Russian hackers, she would have won the Electoral College as well.
Would should have held another election. Or should hold another election as soon as all the facts are allowed to come to light.

In the animal kingdom its referred to as adaptations. The strong of a species simply adapt . Its a wonderful and successfully proven trait.
Campaigning and serving are two different worlds. I give credit to Trump because I believed he would be too inflexible, too domineering, etc.
a sign of maturity is the ability to be interdependent. He is showing maturity by gathering a consensus and then moving forward with it.
Trump is ignoring his detractors and is focused on the job. No President since Lincoln has entered the White House with such division. No president has entered office where the news media makes it their personal goal to publish a continuing false narrative concerning "the person" and "the president". Yet here he is and here he continues to make the necessary decisions to move this nation forward.
In a corporation the saying is " its not wise to manage from beneath".

What information was released about Hillary that was NOT true? Are you complaining that the public was informed or that they were not kept ignorant of her criminal activity?

Since you supported every single word this man said in the primary, and the general election, and supportedcstrongly every position he took, and lectured us who were/are short on trust......
Have you personally changed your mind on all positions that you expressed very strongly on here ? Or will younsimoly fall in line with whatever Trump says ?
Will you change positions each time he changes ?
Are you saying you are coming back to traditional Republican values ?
The media is becoming much more accurate as Trump complies and learns, yet you still assault the fake news.

Where does the US Constitution forbid an election if the Russians interfered by spreading FAKE NEWS so that Donald Trump could win the Presidential Election? And that the Trump people knew about this and helped them. Sounds akin to Watergate but quite worse IMHO.

Chump is not 'adapting,' he's simply finding out that he can't bully the press to go away like he did to his subcontractors...and decent people will call him on his lies.
His cultists however, will continue to adapt to whatever lies he makes so that they don't have to evaluate themselves...and realize what a scumbag they voted for he really is.
As for Trump supposedly showing "maturity," when all he's really showing is his lying, narcissistic, sociopathic personality, all I can really say is... ARE YOU FVCKING KIDDING ME?! :1rotfl:

I do not think Donald Trump can mature. Now if his daughter Ivanka and her husband can assert their authority maybe they can temper the Donald somewhat.

You NEED to STOP the breeding out of the white race and the growing Hispanic/black majority. We are at 50:50 right now...the direction we tip WILL determine the outcome. Will "America" survive? Or do we become Mexico II? "We" fought against the Vietnam war...now it's time to FIGHT to save your country! Sending ALL the illegals AND anchor babies back is the ONLY thing that CAN save "America", the villages, Norman Rockwell America. The white America from the 1950s.

No man is an island, and white, Anglo Saxons do not (and cannot ever) live on this planet alone. We are all human beings, even though we are different from each other. For those of you who think that you can annihilate everyone else who isn't just like you ... that's never going to happen. Most people do not understand where they came from, nor what their true purpose is here on earth. It's certainly not to destroy. To the contrary. We all need to learn how to live together, whether or not we agree with each other.

It is like trying to reason with an angry monkey often on this Forum and one who likes to throw its poo at you. Has been like this for a year or so except when the Moderator just shuts it down which has happened before especially around elections.
It can be very upsetting on here for sensitive, educated, mature and decent people. It often seems like going back to grade school to me with the level of maturity and empathy.
Just try to weather through it and you can put people who really upset you on your Ignore List. If you go to Quote Post and then Scroll down you will see who posted the last ten entries.
This is Taltarzac725 by the way. I have Dirtbanker and Affald on my Ignore List as I just could not take any more of these two's trolling-- deliberate baiting of people to get a response.

Inside me I hope your posts are to amuse yourself, because you have totally lost touch with any reality or reason. You keep asking for people to challenge you. I will try...I posted many stories for you to read but doubt you will because your posts reflect an inability to read.
You have become an insufferable bore to all folks on here, and until you wake up and realize your ego is the problem. I can tell you, your problem cannot be solved by demeaning people who are not of your color or heritage, because for the most part, their resumes make yours look quite meager.
Thus far the only thing you have informed anyone of is your feelings of failure. I suggest you list your accomplishments (should not take long) and read them aloud. It might give you a boost that you need. And your lack of anything is not because your skin is white......your hate is not because your skin is white....you lack of empathy for fellow Villagers is not because your skin is white....it appears this is what you are. I put a few more people on my Ignore List in addition to Affald and Dirtbanker. No sense reading nonsense. I have a lot of work to do over the next few months so I should stop wasting my time on here arguing with people who will never change. And I should be working!
Put larbud and MDLNB also on my Ignore List along with Affald (offal), Dirtdanker (dingleberry, douchebag, dirtbag). The other Republicans seem OK even Don Baldwin as he rarely attacks anyone on a personal basis. I know next to nothing about any of these people so I cannot really say anything personal about larbud, affald, Dirtbanker, and MDLNB but I want as little to do with these four posters as possible.

No...Bunny...we are NOT ALL human being BECAUSE we ARE different from each other. See how easy that is?
YOU don't understand where you came from and where THEY came from. We came from DIFFERENT base stock. Negroids do NOT have the same ancestors we do. That is a FACT.
NO...THEY need to learn to live with US the dominant species...at least that the way it's SUPPOSED to work. Women have effected laws that CHANGE nature. THAT is the essence of America's problems. And a reason why we've slipped from #1 to #25.

Yes. It works on the Political Forum and a big Thank You for the Moderator for making that happen if he/she/they even look at this Forum any more. It is the only place we can really mention Politics but is also the place that you have to put up with many rather nasty personal attacks. I have seen far nastier but we should not have to put up with these at all especially if is just the type of baiting I see from affald and dirtbanker.

It's interesting to hear that grown adults find it necessary to have an ignore list. They do not have the maturity or wisdom to ignore posts or skip over them on their own. You can see why liberals NEED the gov. nanny to make decisions FOR them and coddle them. If there was not a moderator on here to defend them, they would weep, but still read EVERY single post to see if anyone is talking about them. The teenage girls on here should go back to facebook with the rest of the girls.

Trolls on many other places on the Internet simply are not tolerated and are booted off very quickly. I am happy for the Ignore List. Especially since Donald Trump basically trolled himself into the Presidency by not following any logic whatsoever which is what trolls do. He beat 16 Republican candidates each and every one who would have probably been a better President than the complete disaster this one is.

A bitter white man.
Blah blah blah blah blah...you have NOTHING to say...you just rant on about me. I'm not the problem...the problem lives on MLK Blvd.
Actually I thank you. Did not realize ignore would work here...thanks
Why is it ALWAYS the women who NEED help? Either an ignore or having someone banned. Grow a pair! Oh...right...you can't. And you wonder WHY there's a glass ceiling...that's just one reason. You have no balls...
Women...women NEED an ignore function because their little feelings get hurt when someone disagrees or call out their BS.
No true.
It is the likes of you who troll this board that makes that a handy tool.
See, you are clueless and have no shame in manifesting it.
Goodbye
And yet...here you are...reading his post...replying to his post.
Women...what a piece of work you are.

Aww, try harder. You libtards are so snappy with your little one and two liners. Where's your contribution to the political forum? When is the last time (IF EVER) you started a thread with a link to a news article? Even your pet, Jon links. Even if his links are just as limp wristed and lame as you are.

The Ignore List sure works well. And I am restraining myself and keeping these people on it and not looking at what they post.
Try not to quote them.
I am trying to recruit some other more reasonable voices for this Forum. If you know of someone with wit, empathy, and some breath of knowledge invite them onto the TOTV Political Forum.
I get tired of the grade school kind of level of discourse on here.

Hey Rainman, I found the perfect forum for you. Huffington Post is supposed to have a safe room forum for libtards. Either that or maybe you can impress the local high school facebook forum. You can compare your girly tights and sports bras for your pilates classes.
Suggestion: Don't drop your famous project 6283-99854 on them when you first join. You might scare some of the illiterate posters away.

You view is at best a bit blind. Obama was in office for eight years. Trump for eight weeks.
Clearly by your own post Obama has left this country divided and TWENTY TRILLION DOLLARS IN DEBT.
So you understand, just what Obama added to the national debt is 85,000 for every man woman and child in the US.
Since obviously while you voted for Obama and I did not. I truly think you should pay OUR 170,000.

ALL you have to do is show us all the 99% black "villages". A 99% black place as nice as the THOUSANDS of 99% white gated communities. Gated to keep them, the animals out.

A typical conservative post. Never admit the moron you voted for is lying and taking you for a ride. Just blame it on Obama. How convenient. First of all, your numbers are incorrect. Yes, due to trying to overturn the financial recession and the initiation of the Affordable Health Care Act, the national debt rose 9 trillion under President Obama. It probably never occurred to you that Bush's policies might have added significantly to the debt while Obama was in office.Obama inherited a country that was in one of the worst recessions since the Great Depression. He had to live with the Bush tax cuts for 2 years. Also, it is Congress that passes tax and spending legislation. There is little the president can do to impact the debt, positively or negatively, without a bill passed by Congress. During Obama's first term, congress was split, so any financial legislation/decisions were bi-partisan. During his second term, the Republicans controlled Congress. If you want to assess blame, I think you know where to look.

Mickey. I often wonder what happened to you in life that caused you to be so bitterly angry against people who have conservative views? Is it that they sometimes have more financial security? Is it that you think they haven't struggled with the same kinds of challenges you have had? I agree we do know where to assess blame, the voters spoke in all the elections...and they elected Obamma to 2 terms and look where all the bowing to other leaders has left us. Look how Obammacare is fvcking over people left and right with extortion premiums!!

I switched, for what it is worth, fron Republican to Independent.
My reason was simple.
The Republican Party in the past used to stand for attributes like moral character and honesty. Allowing Trump who manifests the polar opposite did me in.
Thus my change.
I understand politics...have been involved and actually worked in the arena for about 50 years, so I know the seamy side of politics...I know the moral compromises to be made, but Trump has given us...as a candidate; a foul mouthed, uninformed loud mouth, and as a President, a liar of epic proportions, an unsavory, sneaky person who has earned no trust.
If his presidency stopped today, the redemption of the office would take time, and it will simply get dirtier and dirtier.
Those of you who are going to respond with Clinton or Obama, which I agree are not what would call wholesome, do not have the understanding of how sneaky, and self serving Donald Trump is.
He is of the lowest character, no matter his position. I cannot stand with a party that would nominate him.
I am happy as an independent. I railed against Obama for 8 years, but there are Democratic and progressive ideas that this country needs to adopt or at least listen to.

You restrict those judgements from the haters of blacks, Muslims, immigrants so I assume you are searching for a site that will, allow you to pass such judgement on those groups, so maybe a visit to Breitbart may help...sure they can hook you up.
Again, this is for political discussion, not for you to make friends. So if you are able to make a political point (with no inherent judgement on upbringing or financial state) go for it.

It is those people who got tired of being told what to do and how to talk by people who think they are better than others. Those people, successful people, working people, people with values and strong character are the ones who voted against the left in November.
Just keep it up. They will do it again, and they have strong and silent company.
You have no idea what you have elected, here is an example:

So sad, am I the only person that can see this: Rockface claims to have 50 years experience in the political arena...so he knows how politics work (they might give us this if we give them that)...he voted for a candidate that only garnered 1% of the nation's votes and had nothing to trade for congressional votes...and he believes his waste of a vote has made a difference in the political future!
Oh...to add insult to injury: he rallied against Obamma for 8 years, what did that accomplish? NOTHING! So now he does not want to bitch about Obamma any further (that's the distant past you know), instead he is "focusing" on rallying against Trump for the next 8 years.
Sounds like a chronic whiner to me...

Update for Trump Voters #2
1. He told you NATO was “obsolete,” claiming it doesn’t fight terrorism. You bought it. Now he says NATO is “no longer obsolete.”
2. He told you he’d “bring down drug prices” by making deals with drug companies. You bought it. Now the White House says that promise is “inoperative.”
3. He said he’d close “special interest loopholes that have been so good for Wall Street investors but unfair to American workers." You bought it. Then he picked a Wall Street financier Stephen Schwarzman to run his strategic and policy forum, who compares closing those loopholes to Hitler’s invasion of Poland.
4. He said that on Day One he’d label China a “currency manipulator.” You bought it. Then he met with China’s president and declared "China is not a currency manipulator."
5. He said he’d “renegotiate NAFTA” on Day One. You bought it. He hasn't.
6. He said he wouldn’t bomb Syria. You bought it. Then he bombed Syria.
7. He said he’d build a wall along the border with Mexico. You bought it. Now his secretary of homeland security says “It’s unlikely that we will build a wall.”
8. He said he’d clean the Washington swamp. You bought it. Then he brought into his administration more billionaires, CEOs, and Wall Street moguls than in any administration in history, to make laws that will enrich their businesses, along with former lobbyists, lawyers and consultants who are crafting new policies for the same industries they recently worked for.
9. He said he’d repeal Obamacare and replace it with something “wonderful.” You bought it. Then he didn’t.

Most don't have dental implants from off shore. Many of them go to church and are kind and good folks. I certainly am not worthy to call them friends but I think it is my family they like.
Now the point about the horse? I am not the one in our neighborhood that owns horses. I think you are confused again.

Actually, usually only teachers think that you can teach by repeating the same thing over and over again. (Not Good teachers) Madison Avenue and Good teachers often think the best way to get a point across is by brevity and by a new way to look at something.
When a person's eyes become glazed they have heard THAT enough. Time for a new approach.

Hey Rainman,
"President Obama notoriously neglected (http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2007/11/obama-says-flag/) to put his hand over his heart during "The Star Spangled Banner" leading up to the 2008 elections.
Obama's defense of his flag-saluting flub fell in line with Lasko's recommendations. At a town hall meeting after the incident, Obama told the crowd (http://abcnews.go.com/Video/playerIndex?id=3759803) , "I was taught by my grandfather that you put your hand over your heart during the pledge, but during "The Star Spangled Banner," you sing!"

This is for Gracie...she does not know that was a link...so read the beginning of the link here.
"n the last week or so, Donald Trump has decided not to be totally Donald Trump. He has changed his positions on many issues, often by simply contradicting himself and sometimes by repudiating what he once said. However he does it, it comes down to this: If policies were sexual identities, Trump wouldn’t know which bathroom to use.
Trump has reversed himself on NATO. Where just recently he pronounced it “obsolete,” he now has changed his position by cleverly reimagining it. He gave NATO a role in fighting terrorism, which it has been doing all along.
Similar feats of mental prestidigitation got Trump to change his mind on China, Russia and Syria where the one which was once almost a buddy (Russia) is now a foe and the one which was once a foe (China) is going to help contain North Korea and the one for which he had no policy (Syria) has been whacked by missiles.
These reversals represent nothing less than a retreat to the status quo ante — that halcyon era before Trump and his cast of mental munchkins started messing with foreign policy. The policies that now seem to be in place are ones that even Barack Obama might support. In fact, with the exception of hitting Syria, he did.

This is a great article, but using pictures to show your link is unsettling to other posters I understand.
Just hoping people read it...it is not an anti Trump article.

Most of what you say is opinion, or just plain wrong. You sound like a college student.
So now, about the Teachers Union. Are you involved with that at all??

I know that....but this way it shows all that they are both full of the Trump kool-aid and have no factual data to support their pseudo president....

I'd suggest you heed your own words, but I know that a libtard will not, cannot. You need to get past being a loser and think about joining the winning side, the patriotic side, the RIGHT side.

Trump is not much of a fan of the environment.
Trump is probably like the rest of us that look at your so-called environment issue for what it really is. Something that he is not going to make America pay trillions on, to find out that man can't change it. You libtards need to get your priorities together and quit being spoiled and coddled needy. It is not the gov's job to protect you from the weather, give you shelter or health care. It is the gov's job to protect you from enemies foreign and domestic. That does not include GIVING you a comfortable lifestyle.
You really need to get over being a loser and come join the winning side, the RIGHT side.

Don't disguise your racism and stupidity with patriotism.

You made the accusation and you want me to "support" my view? Are you a lunatic or just stupid? Don't accuse me of being a racist and then tell me to prove I am not. You are just TROLLING. What's up, are you bored? Or, did you have a spat with your significant other and wish to take it out on the forum?
