Village of Hillsborough resident and filmmaker Michael Domino will be screening his newest independent film, a 40-minute drama, titled The Expediter, at Rohan Recreation Center on Thursday May 4th at 6 p.m. The Expediter is a soulful coming of age story set in a New York City manufacturing plant in 1975. Events unfold in the movie when Michael Roman’s father puts his wayward son under the wing of a grizzled, hard drinking, former WWII Marine Corp Veteran. The teenager must decide what parts of his new hard living mentors life he is to take with him into adulthood and what to leave behind. The film also takes viewers back to a bygone era in American History when our cities were still great centers of global production. A question and answer ( Q&A) discussion will follow the film's screening.
Tickets will be available at the event for $5.00 per seat. All proceeds will be donated to The American Tinnitus Association in support of tinnitus cures for our civilian and military population.. Sal Gentile The American Tinnitus Association Villages Tinnitus Support Group leader ,who conducts monthly support group meetings, will be on hand to accept the donation on behalf of the charity
