We just moved to TV and usually store our important papers (life insurance policies, etc.) in a bank safe deposit box. Which local banks are offering this service? Thanks

Most of the local banks have Safety Deposit Boxes available. Depending on what size box you want, there can be a waiting list and it may take awhile to get what you want. First choice would be to check with whomever you bank with locally to see if they offer the boxes. If not, ask them for a recommendation.

I know SunTrust has them but have no idea what the fees are -- left my stuff in a California box so that if something happens to me my best friend and executor can have immediate access.

Community Bank has them and if you open an acct. with them you can get it for free. It is the smallest one that is free. They are also on an availability issue. I just opened an acct. so that I could have a safety deposit box and since it was free that was a plus. I didn't have any trouble getting mine. I think the one we had at Citizens Bank was 29.00 a year.
