One poster feels Iran is our biggest worry. I can agree, but still fear the immediate threat from N Korea.

This is yet another troublesome response to President Trumps chest pounding. I don't know how much of an impact the massive cuts in thevStatevDepartment is having, but we sure need some diplomats.

"Iran will ask "no one's permission" to build up its missile capability, President Hassan Rouhani said on Saturday, in what appeared to be a defiant response to U.S. efforts to hamper the Iranian military.

Facing an election in May where he hopes to secure a second four-year term, Rouhani has had to defend himself from opponents who say he has been too eager to appease the West, after agreeing to curb Iran's nuclear program in exchange for the lifting of sanctions.

U.S. President Donald Trump has criticized the nuclear deal and said during his election campaign he would stop Iran's missile program. After Iran test-fired a new ballistic missile in January, Trump tweeted that it was "playing with fire".

You know what Iran, N Korea, and Syria have in common? They're not part of the global banking cabals...

Without China's protection, N.Korea is merely a gnat waiting to be swatted. They are starving and poor and without backing, they are nothing but a small squeak that wishes the attention of the big kids.

And yet...they developed nukes...go figure...

If they cannot get their delivery system off the ground, they are impotent. Sure, they are dangerous IF they are allowed to act out. But, like any other spoiled children, they would be smacked down by the neighbors, if they did not have the protection of their parents (China in this case). Even S.Korea could squash them if they wished. S. Korea does not want the expense of N.Korea's welfare. Remember how hard it has been on Germany when the wall came down. Economics of the additional welfare is crippling.
