As I have posted on here before, nomorobo.com works great.

It is free for land lines but costs about $3 per month for cellphones

Five minutes ago the phone rang and the TV screen ( service provided by Comcast ) said it was a call from my urologist. Thinking it was one of the appointment reminders we answered and was greeted by the voice of a young lady robot who wanted to know if we were interested in reducing our credit card interest rates. We signed on to nomorobo.com about a month ago and know that it works with the number of one ring calls averaging one or two a day. One time aberration, or have the " crooks " found a way to defeat the system ?

I got a phone blocker on the last telephone system I purchased. So nice, so quiet, so happy! I think they should design it the other way. You program the people who you want to talk.
