Bare, you got that right, or the smell of puppy anything! Only a true dog lover understands why puppy breath is so appealing, or a bird lover like me doesnt mind birdie poop on me, but thats another whole show as they say.
Still want to know why I cant see Donnas Pictures! Tony, any idea????

Are you sure Raven is not a clone of Toby? They look so similar. I disagree with Bare, you are most definitely crazy. Dog crazy that is. :D Gotta love that puppy breath for sure. I love the clumsiness puppies have as well. They are just so darn loveable. :0000000000luvmyhors

Donna, I'm so happy for you and John. Raven looks so beautiful. I always believe that getting a new puppy helps the hurt from losing your best friend.
What ???? OCT???? What happened to Aug and Sept??? OMG, I'm so glad I have F16 here to keep me company. Heavenly Hadley misses you, so you need to get back here.

Congrats Donna! Thanks for sharing your pics. Raven is so handsome and beautifully marked. Toby looks much like my Klaas did - beautiful and huge! Raven is lucky to found you and I look forward to meeting him when you come back.

Roscoe,
Im not trying to tell you what to do really! But please consider looking for a new dog at your local shelter. There are so many wonderful sweet dogs at shelters just waiting for someone to come and give them a loving home. They might even have the breed you are looking for! Please check out petfinder.com. enter your zip code and pictures of dogs available at your local shelters will come up.
Im so sorry about the loss of your pet.

Roscoe, from another dog lover, my deepest sympathy. I agree with Nonie, the shelter is a great place to find a wonderful needy pet. But its important to get another one, it really does help the hurt, it doesn't go away, it just helps. Good Luck and keep us posted.

Roscoe..I am so sorry for your loss..I agree with Noni too but I wanted a GS puppy..I did look at the shelters near me, and they had none..
I bought Raven from a breeder here in the Pocono's, Pa.

Roscoe,
I have to agree with Nonie and Kathie, adoptions are great. Both of my girls are from a German Shepherd Rescue. They were both puppies 3 and 4 months old. We wanted to adopt older dogs that were already house trained but were talked into taking the puppies. We are also Dog Crazy.
Ahhh Puppy Love.

Another vote for rescue dogs. They make wonderful pets and you have the added benefit of knowing that you provided a discarded dog with a great home.
Roscoe, I am sorry for the loss of your Belgian shepherd. We lost our wonderful Brutus in March to a brain tumour and he will have a permanent place in our hearts.
We weren't planning on adopting another dog right away, and we certainly hadn't planned on such a large one. But Lolli Pup was offered to us. She needed a new home, and she won our hearts. She is a wonderful dog. Lolli isn't a replacement for Brutus, that would be impossible. She is a loving, entertaining and important new family member.
