Here is how President trump drained the swamp as he promised.
He appointed several Goldman Sachs people to serve on his cabinet. He appointed a couple of Wall Streeters to also be in his cabinet. He appointed the CEO of the largest oil company in the world to be his Secretary of State. His Secretary of Education was a huge Trump donor. Most of his Ambassador appointments have gone to major donors to the Trump fund. He now has Bannon, Ivanka and his son in law as his primary advisors. He did a great job draining the swamp, didn't he ??????

Guess that depends on what draining the swamp means. It really sounds like he has just moved the swamp. I do have a problem with unelected people advising policies in the WH
This presidency has gone pretty far out there.

I hear ya.
Then again, Republicans seem to like this 'out there' stuff (ie: Bannon) given that Nancy Reagan...had an astrologer on standby. :1rotfl:

Is this an ALL GIRLS club or can anyone join in the little conversation?
Draining the swamp? Did you expect that Trump would bring in garbage collectors, hamburger flippers and telephone solicitors for the jobs? He brought in outside experts in most cases and military experts for some high positions. Is that not draining the swamp. Of course, many ambassador positions are payback for donors and major supporters. That's the way it works.
You girls really need to get a life, if you can't find something political to talk about. Trump has accomplished a lot in 90 days and you don't even discuss any of it. You would rather talk about his skin tone, tax return, daughter, wife, son, golf or what he eats. You sound like you only source of information is Entertainment magazine.
I realize that you eyes bleed every time you read something that shows he is doing his job. I also realize that many of you hear something positive about Trump and your heads explode. You only have to worry about your little girly tiffs for four years. Then you can actually go back to your tearing down America again and re-shaping it in your image of European Socialism. I still don't understand why you don't simply move to Europe where the job is already done.
Ok girls, back to your little gossip. Facebook misses you. Please feel free to move your girl talk over there with the rest of the teens.

Yes he did. He has appointed a lot of people from outside the beltway which is exactly what draining the swamp means. He's appointed many people from the real world who understand the real world as opposed to career politicians who only understand things from a warped Washington perspective.
But, he has also kept enough politicians in positions in order to help him navigate the politics of Washington.
As far as I can see it's a perfect blend of real problem solvers and necessary evils.

He did get a Supreme Court Justice in but Donald John Trump and his followers do not realize that this man is not in the control of anyone. Like John Roberts. I agree with you. It's about time citizens with real and pertinent experience are involved in Washington. Every time healthcare was discussed, be it insurance or rules and regs, I often wondered how many providers were ever consulted (doctors, nurses, pharmacists, hospital administrators, etc). Instead, we get lawyers, community organizers, career politicians, and the like, making important decisions that impact the masses, about which they know little to nothing. It seems to me that Trump prefers to consult with experts as part of his decision making process. I call that smart!

Kind of like Trump getting an actual barber to do his hair rather than whoever actually does it now. Unless he just wants to be a topic of conversation with that doo.
Most of his cabinet picks work against common sense in each of the areas that have been put. Generates talk but probably very bad policies.

"The first 100 days of a presidency is a rather artificial milestone, but one by which all presidents have been measured since Franklin D. Roosevelt’s whirlwind of action when he took office in the midst of the Great Depression. President Donald Trump appears especially conscious of this marker. During the presidential campaign, he even issued a list of 60 promises that he said he would fulfill in his first 100 days.
We’ve been tracking Trump’s promises, and so far he has not even taken action on 60 percent of the promises – and he’s broken five of them, such as his promise to label China as a currency manipulator.

""If President Trump is really committed to the promise of draining the swamp, he needs to start paying attention to his 2016 campaign associates.
Last week, a former Trump appointee and transition official, Robert Wasinger, bailed on the White House to go work as a lobbyist. Now we're reading about a handful of former campaign associates who are looking to turn their connections to the president into lucrative lobbying deals with foreign interests.
Former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, for example, is actively courting foreign governments and looking to strike it rich doing consulting work on overseas elections, Politico reported this week.
Drain the swamp indeed.

Brilliant.
You are aware that the election is over, the campaign is over.
And you are condoning lying by the President from the Oval Office based on who he ran against. Your theory is our President can lie or do what he wants because of his opponent. Good logic.
That is simply STUPID.
You cannot get over the election. It is time to govern, the campaign or maybe you hadn't heard is over.

Has anyone ever heard of an assistant to the President having a Chief of Staff ?
Serious question....never heard of such a thing
"Ivanka Trump is quietly staffing up, and she’s filling out her team in the West Wing with former officials from President George W. Bush’s administration.
In addition to her close adviser Dina Powell, who served as assistant to the president for personnel in the Bush White House, the first daughter — who now serves as a special assistant to the president — has hired a chief of staff who worked under Bush’s education secretary, Margaret Spellings."

As such, has her own little fiefdom and therefore is doing what most First Lady's have done.
In this case though, the position is...'Chief of Staff to the Second Lady.' :ohdear:

AND still not one single piece of legislation.
It is all bluster and EOs, all of which can be overturned by a signing ceremony as he did.
We need change of substance, not BS.
He has some good ideas, but is insistent on foolishness and personally attacking is not serving him well.
Oh, and this appears to be copied from the White House web site..right ?
And legislation requires congress and makes law. These EOs are just as reverseable as Obams's

I guess some of you still don't understand that congress writes laws (legislation) and the President signs them. Trump has still done more more in the short time he has been in office than Obie did in 8 years. After all, it takes time to clean house. Especially when the left continues to have tantrums and lays down in the road of progress. Tell schumer to get up and get to work and stop hindering traffic. Never mind, you will just find something else to complain about. Your first black man did not pave the road for the first stupid felon female so I can see how you are upset. Blame it on Obie, if you dare.

Do you know where your head will be if Trump suddenly stops ???

I will stand up and cheer if Trump can do anything at all.
He is alienating congress, including Republicans, with his big mouth.
He has done nothing of note yet except. return the financial market back to where they were before they collapsed. All the rest of what he has done is okay "studies", and if anything like his looking into voter fraud that he screamed about and ordered an investigation, or his other loud mouthed antics, we will never hear about them again. His 90 days and we learn about the fight on ISIS....is just a memory, and I could go on.
You actually need to read what is going on and not get captured by those far extreme right wing sites who will tell you.
Why does this man, who claims he wants to put the current investigation into his campaign to rest, allow an independent investigator ? Carl Bernstien, who knows a bit more than you.....feels "strongly" that the FBI has a strong belief that there is a cover up underway, BUT because the WH will not appoint a special investigator or allow more investigators, they are stuck with just SEVEN people.
PLEASE read.....he is spending more time looking for trouble than erasing it.R
PS....by the way, my post is factual and unlike you I stand ready to give links and information to back up my statements. You complain about any backup supplied....either you just want to bury your head or are reading impaired, as you only sources are FAKE news sites with phoney medical statements. Just, as you already have once, wish death on all those who do not support Trum

Do not know the person but he is acutely aware where many of the posters on this board have their heads.
BLIND loyalty with no questions is just not a good thing, but these posters seem to feel that they need no education on issues, nor to pay attention because Trump will handle it.
Of course he never lies.
Buddy of mine shared a great phrase, he "says" he invented....
"To accuse someone of felonies with no substance given has now become presidential. What direction are we headed ?"
Remember when that was not a nice thing to do....now it is PRESIDENTIAL

Your the guy who called him silly and dumb. Go ahead blame that on Trump too!
I agree you seldom have anything worthwhile to post...usually paragraphs of someone else's words...bolded!
If you do post your own words it is about how your an expert with 50 years in the political arena (that voted for someone that wasn't even running for president)...ineffective way of trying to add weight your views...stupid old man!

If, and I cannot imagine why, anyone is interested, as you read on this forum and oft tines look to see who posted, make a mental note of the times you read DIRTBANKER ever, ever actually commenting on an issue.
That will require no pencil and paper because ther will be none.
There is wonderment how or why an adult (that is an assumption on my part) would spend time trolling a board where he does not even understand what might be going on.
Now, if he were trolling on a child's site (I would suppose he might) where the subject matter might allow him to partake, rather than simply...well whatever besides trolling he is doing.
It must hurt quite a bit to not only be unable to understand the bigger words, but not understand any of the subject matter must be frustrating.
Does CANDYLAND have a forum ?

Just want to comment that I have never been on Social Security Disability. Never in my life. And I am fully capable of working and am doing something with my life right now but should not have to contend with junior high level trolls, cyberstalkers or cyber harassers. Even on the TOTV Political Forum which its posters should police if the Moderator refuses to do so.
Don Baldwin just sticks to his ridiculous and simplistic ideas of race. But there are some people on here who make this Political Forum a place to be avoided because of how nasty it has become in personal attacks especially on anyone who criticizes President Donald John Trump. He and his policies are very much fair game; other people, especially the private lives of the posters should be off of limits.

Don Baldwun is nothing more than a TROLL.
He seems to believe foreign born people will populate the US completely.
Where is the outrage from posters who have foreign born spouses against the Troll? I know of at least two on this forum fitting that criteria.

Obviously, like other big words, you do not know the definition of TROLL.
I may not agree with Don but he can back everything he says with references. More than I can say for ANY libtard on here. If you wish to battle with Don over anything he says, you had better bring a flashlight, batteries, food and water to last the duration, because it will be a long battle. I doubt you can defeat him. Especially with your little insults.

"Weird" for now...in 30 years it will be mainstream thought as America has degraded past #50 in most world rankings as the Hispanic population passes 50%.
The long slow fall as the minority majority takes over politically and turns America into another minority failed state.
What exactly is "weird" about that? They're already the majority of new babies, the majority below the age of 7...and growing in numbers while whites decrease in numbers.
America has dropped in quality as the number of minorities has risen. It's an undeniable fact...proven over and over again. It's how countries and cultures are destroyed...how they go extinct. Dilution of the people leads to loss of culture.
