It’s official: Top psychiatrists at Yale conference warn that Trump has a ‘dangerous mental illness’ (https://www.rawstory.com/2017/04/its-official-top-psychiatrists-at-yale-conference-warn-that-trump-has-a-dangerous-mental-illness/)
He does seem quite off at times to me. I wonder if he gets any mental health treatments?

I think that it is quite possible that he has Asberger's Syndrome, a form of Autism of bright people that skews their ability for what the rest of us call appropriate social interchange.
I think many people have it. I know of two who have self identified on TOTV. They are both very bright but often will zero in on minor cues and miss what others are trying to say.
I think it is also possible that Barron may have a mild form of Autism as well. I mean this in no way to be critical. Autism is very, very, common and probably because it is being identified in all of it's forms more often now. I think that women having children later in life may contribute to it's rise. (This is my opinion, just mine)

And Obama wasn't fully human...we're even.
It's too late now...he's elected and he works for "them"...as long as he does what he's told...he'll stay. If he IS a rogue...he'll be booted.
So...what is this "dangerous" illness? Sociopath? Psychopath? They ALL share that trait...Hillary was one too. You HAVE to be to get to that position...or have some VERY powerful friends who what you there.

No one is that successful in business without having an above average I.Q.
I know you don't like him Jeannie, but he isn't without skill in Real Estate and investment and hiring good staff.

I know you don't like him Jeannie, but he isn't stupid.
He has been VERY successful in REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT. and marketing his name.
He has also gone bankrupt to the point American banks will not bail him out any longer, thus his foreign investments.
He has a great business head, for sure
This is not to demean him, but whether he is smart of not does not excuse his character, his lying or his deception.
Everyone wants to excuse him for lying....for making false and malicious claims, etc.
How do you excuse all of that....with the mention of Clinton or Obama ?
He is the President of the United States....that should be the focus. Why do we lower the standard for this person ?
I am sorry....I just do not get how any american can excuse his/her President lying to them....making stupid claims and accusations and being mean spirited. I don't get it. And you folks just keep pumping him up. In 90 days, he has lied more to the american people than so many Presidents COMBINED...he has made more false accusations than probably the mass total of ALL President times 5....and so forth, but I am convinced that you folks JUST DO NOT CARE ONE IOTA about this country.....not at all. If you did, you would want an honest president with character and morals.
How do you get that....you hold him accountable. He tweets simply because those tweets is what you people live for. He attacks people, maligns others, attacks our press and other freedoms, and he uses Twitter because you folks live for that. All the reporting and verification of what he is truely doing, you just do not care.
I do not have that syndrome that Rubicon likes to throw around. I, as an american citizen want him to succeed, BUT I want him to be honest and truthful. I do not want him to use the WH for his own gains....I want transparency, and if you want to give me a syndrome or whatever because I feel that way, so be it, but just wonder how you justify your putting the country second

No question for me.
We have a President who in his entire life has done not one thing for this country. He lies, he has openly and publicly humiliated his ex wives...admitting on air that he screwed others wifes while still married...maligns anyone and everyone who happens to offer another opinion and he is the President....
We have a man that for 15 years was absolutely well known as a harrasser of women.....who was accused of wife abuse...remember only 8 women came public but HR at Fox has been a busy place...so many who did not sue, and just left are not even counted....and he is proclaimed a Victim..

This part in the link...says it ALL. :ohdear:
“Worse than just being a liar or a narcissist, in addition he is paranoid, delusional and grandiose thinking and he proved that to the country the first day he was president,” Gartner explained. “If Donald Trump really believes he had the largest crowd size in history, that’s delusional.”
About the only thing that he's said that is true, is his statement that he...'could murder someone on 5th Ave. and not lose any of his cultists.'

The issue is Donald John Trump but I would be happy anytime to have these 35 psychiatrists from Yale look over my own story and compare it with that of the PRESIDENT THE UNITED STATES to see who is actually more healthy as far as the re-actions to just about anything is.
I did have a nervous breakdown a little over 17 years ago but that was brought about by some truly amazing circumstances. And I did talk to one psychiatrist about all of that. Some Indian-American pill pusher who was hardly worth the $10 per session I paid her.
Since then I have run into a retired psychiatric social worker from the Cape Cod area who lives here in the Villages and he never seemed to get nervous around me or showed any sign that he thought something was mentally ill with me.
You just have to read some of Trump's statements, his behavior of the campaign, and quite a bit more evidence to show that there is something very wrong in Trump's head.
And I do not have my fingers on the nuclear codes!!!
And again I would be more than happy to share my life story with as many psychiatrists and psychologists as possible.

Its clear from this article that the progressive community has no shame, no class, no morals, no conscience but a lot of hate. Never in the history of this nation has anyone ever been so disrespectful of the position of president to make such a claim. If it had any credence it would have been handled tactful, quietly sparing the family and this nation any undue concern.
But it is false and its purpose is to continue to damage Trump and in doing so this nation.
This is an obvious ploy to try and invoke the 25th Amendment. it will fail. Progressives make it clear they have no regarded for the safety, security and progress of this nation. such tactics approximate anarchy. This goes beyond the pale and reinforces that Trump Derangement syndrome only grows

Oprah...talks...that is all she does...she made $ billions by talking. She never MADE anything. Broadcasting talking isn't a great accomplishment. Intel, Microsoft, Northrop, Xerox, they MADE something new, they CREATED something new. Women and minorities just DON'T do that like white men do. Of course there are a few...here and there...but NOTHING like the numbers you find within populations of white men. Women didn't make western civilization..white men did!

There are conservatives and liberals in every field. Although most doctors tend to be conservative, most psychiatrists tend to be liberal. Anyone that works at Yale or any of our institutes of higher learning is likely to be liberal. So I would consider a Yale psychiatrist is probably an extreme lefty.
I wonder how long these ridiculous assertions are going to continue. Probably as long as the birther crap and the truther nonsense and the calls for the president's tax returns. All of these things are simply distractions made to prevent people from looking at real issues and real solutions.

Psychiatry has some common standards in diagnosis and the like. Treatments and other things vary somewhat but I would not think that the political party of any given psychiatrist looking at Trump's behavior and statements and the like would vary all that much. Unless they are hack psychiatrists or are influenced by bribes or some other personal reason.

Because the entire field is political. Taking homosexuality out of the DSM...PROVES...just how political they are. They can't be trusted to be unbiased...in anything.
Of course they're distractions...you don't know what's REALLY happening. The plotting the government does. The lies. Real agendas. The REAL and ONLY issue we SHOULD be talking about is the "Mexicanization" of America. We're being overrun, bred out, replaced...We were 90% of the population in out hey days...we're 49% now and #25...we'll be 20-25% in 30 years or less and "Mexico II" will be down around #75.
Our future in certain, we are losing more white people than are being born. Hispanics ARE the majority of the population below age 7.

Our future in certain, we are losing more white people than are being born. Hispanics ARE the majority of the population below age 7.
Political "standards". Insisting the sexes are equal, the races are equal, there is NO such thing as homosexuality...it's all political.
Of course there are some cultural, political, economic and other factors in psychiatric diagnoses and the like.
But these do not differ that much unless you are looking at people in different religions in different regions with quite different ways of life.
Donald John Trump's behavior might be rather normal for say an actor in a reality program, a used car sales person or maybe within a bunch of con men. Could even been somewhat the standard with some CEOs. He is none of those things now, however, he is POTUS and should be called out for his lies, narcissism, sociopathy and many other things.

Oh Tal...a babe in the woods...
IF...IF...IF psychology wasn't political...it wouldn't change with the religion or the culture. Do trajectory calculations change from Catholic to Muslim? Does a Muslim cell divide differently than a Jewish cell? It's NOT a "science"...it's a political tool. Look how many people are on psychotropic drugs...what half the population now?
It IS normal for a sociopath or psychopath...code words for ALPHA MALE. The "president" is the ultimate "King of the Hill"...you think he's a "nice guy"? Really? He truly is the "Don"...of the mafia they call the US Government.

Because the entire field is political. Taking homosexuality out of the DSM...PROVES...just how political they are. They can't be trusted to be unbiased...in anything.
Of course they're distractions...you don't know what's REALLY happening. The plotting the government does. The lies. Real agendas. Don. Everything makes you think about your favorite topic which is that your race and your gender is superior. It isn't as if people choose their race, gender or sexual orientation. So they can't help it or change it. So I say you would do better if you accept people the way they are in race, gender and sexual orientation and move on with the reality.
Makes me wonder if you have not done well in this world. You want to blame something for things not going as you planned.
Anyway, there are medications that can help with obsessions. You may not notice a difference but the people around you will.

"The Mental health industry is peopled by a lot of strange folks." I have heard this observation made by several friends who are MDs.
It isn't a quasi-science but many diagnoses are made without a test tube and solid, touchable evidence.
Mental Health issues are still not comfortable to many people although more and more people become mentally sick due to addictions to drugs and booze.
The general population doesn't feel sympathy to many people with Bi-Polar or Schizophrenia. Many homeless people are mentally sick but most of us still look at them as lazy and inferior.
People abhor what they don't understand and when we are frustrated or angry we call people "crazy" or idiots or retards. Actual conditions that people can do little about.
People are indeed interesting and there is a little bit of crazy in most of us.

"Eight hundred mental health professionals have come together to issue a warning to the American people about the dangerous mental state of Donald Trump.
New York Magazine reported:
This moment (which itself is “unprecedented”) led to an open town-hall meeting on Thursday, at Yale Medical School, to discuss the elephant in the room. Dr. Bandy X. Lee, A diminutive Yale psychiatry professor who along with Dr. Gartner called the meeting, puts it this way: “We have a ‘Duty to Warn,’ about a leader who is dangerous to the health and security of our patients.” She has formed a coalition by that name, and it now comprises almost 800 mental health professionals who are “sufficiently alarmed that they feel the need to speak up about the mental-health status of the president.” Gartner has posted a similar petition on the Web, and it has attracted 41,000 signatures, a high proportion of them from mental-health practitioners. Anyone can look it up and sign it.
Rumors and discussion about the mental states of presidents go back almost as far as the nation itself, but there is something different about Trump. The warnings aren’t coming from political opponents, talk radio shows, and partisan media."

"NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — The push by mental health professionals to have President Donald Trump removed from office on the grounds he is mentally unfit to serve came to New Haven on Thursday.
About two dozen people convened at a town hall style meeting held at Yale’s School Of Medicine.
“I’ve worked with some of the most dangerous people our society produces, directing mental health programs in prisons. I’ve worked with murderers and rapists. I can recognize dangerousness from a mile away,” said James Gilligan, a psychiatrist and professor at New York University. “You don’t have to be an expert on dangerousness or spend fifty years studying it like I have in order to know how dangerous this man is.”
Dr. John Gartner, who spoke at the event, started an online petition encouraging other mental health professionals to speak up and declare they believe Preisdent Trump is mentally ill. So far, the petition has more than 40-thousand signatures.
“We do believe that Donald Trump’s mental illness is putting the entire country, and indeed the entire world, in danger,” said Dr. Gartner. “As health professionals we have an ethical duty to warn the public about that danger.”

According to an opinion piece by psychiatrist Jeffrey Lieberman on The Hill, not only do diagnoses from psychiatrists violate the Goldwater Rule, which notes that it's unethical to make such claims without performing in-person assessments of public figures, but also, at this time, there is no standard for what constitutes adequate mental heath."

Trump does have mental health problems.
Of course he does...and so did Hillary and ALL the rest who ran in the last election...that's who you get running for the office of president. Alpha's otherwise known as sociopaths or psychopaths...depending on how ruthless they're willing to be, to get what they want. Hillary was a psychopath. She hooked up with Bill for HER convenience, she used him as much as he used her.
The point you need to understand is, ALL the presidential candidates are sociopaths at the least, and they do it for power, prestige, and wealth. They ALL come out better than they went in. They ALL work for the "system"...the corporatocracy...run by the ultra wealthy who's names you don't find on the Forbes list.

I find it pretty irresponsible for any healthcare professional to diagnosis someone without having even seen the patient, especially when it comes to mental health. Personally, I would take note who these individual doctors are and would steer any patient consulting me to steer clear of them. Although, probably most are in academia and have no clue how to practice in a clinical setting.

And I hate to sound harsh, but I bet you are pretty experienced with psychiatrists. Being the fragile person you seem to be on here. I will take it for granted that you are an expert on Trump's mental state. Tell you what, you let him be until he finishes a year or two, because he is doing a great job. You are smart, you chose to continue to get the wanted attention you seek as A WACKADOODLE!
BE CAREFUL I MAY CHOOSE NOT TO MENTION YOU AGAIN, AND YOU WILL BE SAD.

And I will relish it when you are kicked off of TOTV. Should have happened a month or more ago.

This is a "special person" who has developed a sense of entitlement. He believes someone that disagrees with him should be thrown off. He wants someone that has made snide comments toward him thrown off.
Now if we hold that standard to everyone else on here, who would be left??

Not at all. Seems like a public service for psychiatrists to point out what a danger Donald John Trump is.
No, as a licensed healthcare professional myself, I'm telling you that is irresponsible. As a lawyer, you should know and understand that. To discuss scenarios and possibilities - okay; but to render a diagnosis in that manner - NO!

You do not see the important distinction with Donald John Trump being President of the United States?
I had had a nervous breakdown around March of 2000 and despite what seemed like thousands of dollars in psychiatric bills I never even talked to a psychiatrist. My parents did but they had little actual knowledge of what was going on in my life. And when I finally did get to try to have an honest conversation with one the pill pushing psychiatrist just upped my medication. I did find a law firm to sue her for malpractice but decided it would not be worth the trouble for other family members and the Chicago based national law firm seemed to have a different agenda. This was around the Summer of 2002.
Most FL law firms refused my case as they said I had not been injured enough to warrant their efforts. The Chicago law firm had an office in Tampa.
Just saying that I do not think all that highly of psychiatrists as so much of seems to come down to $$$. Money from the pharmacology companies. It is more a big business that actual treatment of people needing help.
I have had some nice discussions with a psychiatric social worker with a dog named Moo. He seemed to listen more than any of these pill pushing psychiatrists. There are good psychiatrists out there but I never met one of them. Psychiatric nurses yes.
I have had no need of a psychiatrist since probably 12 hours after that nervous breakdown of about March 31, 2000. I had reported what caused that nervous breakdown to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office on September 18, 2002 at their Headquarters in Pinellas Park to a Criminal Intelligence Detective. I got out of there with no suggestion from this Detective that I see a psychiatrist but did have a little problem with the woman manning the desk when telling her why I wanted to see a Detective. Basically I told her and then the Detective that I had been gaslighted-- fed a scenario of things that when I related them to other people made me sound crazy. And when no one believed me I snapped for 12 hours every second of which I remember. I was really getting somewhere with my 224 613 Project at that time. Which I also told that Detective. It is the use of the mental health system as a weapon which is quite common in history and in other countries.
I do not see Yale's psychiatrists as using their positions to influence much of anything though as you would need a great deal more than that to invoke the 25th Amendment. Twenty-fifth Amendment to the United States ConstitutionTrump - Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twenty-fifth_Amendment_to_the_United_States_ConstitutionT rump) would actually need to be evaluated by someone other than talking heads-- or shrinks-- hundreds of miles away. His doctors would probably have to sign off on his being unfit for the Presidency. Or the White House doctors.
And on my life before that nervous breakdown. I had never seen a psychiatrist nor a psychologist before that unless it was for some study in which I volunteered at the University of Nevada, Reno when I was in a various Psychology courses.

No. I am not. Many know what AFFALD has posted on TOTV and it goes way past that. The man is a sadistic troll who enjoys hurting others feelings as much as possible. He targets people he sees as easy marks for his infliction of emotional distress. The man is a bully and has been called out by the Moderator for being one and for harassing me. I have no idea why he has not been booted off of here.
I will bet he has a history of such behavior on many other sites as well. As he is very good at inflicting emotional distress. The cyberbullying sites probably have a record of this man. We will see if that is true though if it needs to come to that.

That is very likely. You should know that it is possible to go to the local police and have him identified, but then it might be a long and expensive experience to get justice. Those of us who read this Forum and have common sense can easily identify the bullies and the brawlers and the sissies who hide behind their anonymity. Don't let him get under your skin.

Tal, I think we must be misunderstanding one another because, as I see from your reply, we are in agreement more than disagreement. I too have no fondness for psychiatrists. I'm often asked in my line of work for recommendations, but when it comes to psychiatrists I struggle to find one that I'm comfortable recommending. Many in my field feel the same way. I have found some wonderful psychologists along the way however, and prefer that route as I'm not fond of the idea of "pill pushing" either.
So having said that, my point was and still is that the Yale psychiatrists, in my opinion, are irresponsible for diagnosing a person they have never seen. That's all. On the rest, you and I seem to be in agreement.

I know any lawsuit would probably be a complete waste of time and I would probably be laughed at by the Sumter County Sheriff's Office but probably not by the cyberharassing organizations even though they also would probably do very little in the way of action.

That is the problem with Donald John Trump's statements about stuff and reality. That is a very serious matter for every American be he/she Republican or Democrat or Independent.
Trump Derangement Syndrome is just an Alt-Right trick to get people from actually looking at the facts. Urban Dictionary: Trump Derangement Syndrome (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Trump%20Derangement%20Syndrome)
One only has to look at the behavior of progressives nationally and locally to find that Trump Derangement syndrome is real. And so do you want to know why urban claims its a trick? Its because the primary reason people with mental disorders do not know they have mental disorders is "lack of insight".
"Lack of insight" is absent in Donald Trump as evidence by his abilities and accomplishes but is pronounced in progressives who seek a conspiracy being carried out by Trump with anything and everything he does and says.
Now only if Trump derangement Syndrome wasn't so we would all be the better for it.
Personal Best Regards:

My biggest beef with trump is his constant lying that usually can be debunked with an hour. He simply continues with another lie !!! His first 100 days is about to end and of all

Which is about ObamaCare.
No matter which, with his Supreme Court decision, Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. has given us an unprecedented opportunity to vote in November on an entitlement program called the Affordable Care Act. A vote for President Barack Obama is a vote in favor. A vote for Gov. Mitt Romney is a vote against. The importance and magnitude of this choice cannot be overstated.

Those protections are for people and those here LEGALLY. They had it right in the beginning when they left the blacks out of being people. Then they mistakenly made it 3/5ths, followed by the fatal, full equal human status.
The 11 million...at any given time...illegals dropped 50 million ILLEGAL "citizen" anchor babies who's children are now beginning to have children. Hispanics are 1/3 the population, the majority of children, and growing FAST. They go or America falls and becomes Mexico II.
How are you going to get rid of minorities, if we have sanctuary cities that protect ILLEGAL ALIENS, which are actually criminals that are breaking the law?
Look at the demographics in those cities...most likely a large Hispanic population being politically active. What do you think happens when THEY are the ones completely running these cities? THEY are becoming the new majority and the country is changing as they do.
Go to the border counties...see America's future.
