I hope that this question has not already been asked, answered, and discussed. If so, I apologize.
I have been told verbally that any written correspondence, including e-mails, directed to any department of The Villages is considered a public record under Florida law and may be requested, and must be provided, to anyone asking for it.
Is this true? If so, I would appreciate a law citation and an explanation of how the law specifically applies and any limitations contained within the law.
