Not Really...science gets a LOT wrong at first and needs to be updated as information becomes available.

Sociology and psychology are used more for propaganda than anything else...

However on the serious side, science is never settled. Much of what scientist claim cannot be repeatedly duplicated in a lab. Ask some of the sign carriers if they have ever heard the term "Maunder Minimum"?

Like any issue open and civil debate is essential to get at the truth. talking over one another is counterproductive
