I thoroughly enjoyed it. I wasn't aware of the personal problems that Young Tom endured. Very interesting story.

Not good. I agree with one of the newspaper reviews, "as biopics go, it's a bogey"

I felt the same about the book. Disappointing, as I really looked forward to both.

The story was interesting to me, as I'm a golfer, but my friend doesn't play golf and he was thoroughly bored. The last half hour could have been shortened to less than ten minutes as it was kind of soap-opery. I think of it as a forgettable film.

They seem to have a very tragic personal history.
