My wife, who is British, and I are thinking about moving to TV when we retire. Are there any other British folks living at TV?

Thanks,
Razor

The couple who own and run the El Santiago club house are from the London area, the couple who own the little tea room and flower shop at Sumter Landing are English, and then there is me! I dont live at The Villages yet, but...................... one day!!!

There are a large number of Brits who reside in TV. My neighbor is from Birmingham and is very active with several British groups who meet for all kinds of activities, both in the rec centers as well as in private homes. He plays in a Brit men's golf league and joins a group regularly for drinks and conviviality at the country club bars as well as at local restaurants. No problem in finding Brit ex pats here.

My friend who lives in the Villages has British friends there and I met some of them when I was there. With the place so big, there must be many British people living there.

Yes, there are a lot of us "transplanted Brits" living in The Villages. And some nice, friendly "Brit" groups too. Next month, I am opening The UK Shoppe to cater to the British Community. We will feature Food & Goodies (including Christmas Crackers) "From Across The Pond". Watch our for our advertising on Talk Of The Villages Website.
Meanwhile, for more information, please contact theukshoppe@embarqmail.com

Although neither my wife or I are British, my MGTD is.

At the Spanish Springs cruise-in, many "Brits" has stopped to talk with me and admire her.

Hi, we're Brits who own in The Villages but of course we cannot retire there permanently.

Check out Virgin Atlantic prices if you can book before 22nd September. We just bagged ourselves a great bargain - about 200 quid cheaper than British Airways!
