Yup, #$%$ America. Disgusted to even live in this country. I get demonized because I'm white even though I go out of my way to help everyone in need. An these universities incubating this divide and conquer/victim hood culture. Who ever thinks its okay to hold a ceremony for only black kids should be disbarred from that school. If I asked for a white only ceremony I would be called racist and a piece of #$%$. #$%$ your political correctness, and #$%$ your one race ceremony. #$%$.

You know, I wouldn't mind. At my son's college graduation, I didn't hear his name called out because of all of the disrespectful whooping, hollering, and screaming done by a certain segment of the population. Setting aside a special graduation ceremony for the b lacks would at least allow everyone else to enjoy a pleasant, dignified ceremony.

So are they going to have black only rest rooms, drinking fountains and lunch counters too? Will there be a special black only space reserved in the back of public transport? That's... progress? SMH

I'm Vietnamese American, we want an Asian only ceremony too. Just kidding, we can make it on our own, we don't need any dam special treatment.

Perfect, now all they have to do, is, get rid of Affirmative Action, and there will be no black students that can pass the entrance exam. Problem solved!!!

what a croc! "told The Root that the ceremony is "an opportunity to celebrate Harvard's black excellence and black brilliance."" Yes. BLACK brilliance. What if someone tried to do the same with whites only? ANd build white brilliance. Think anyone would call that racist? Absolutely! ANd THIS sentence that he follows it up with "He stressed that the event is not about segregation but about "building a community." is totally wrong. It IS about segregation. Totally. It is about building BLACK community. If it was not racist, it would try to build a community of ALL people, not BLACK people. That, be definition, is racist, as it is defining an event for one race. They can't SEE that?
Eustace 13 hours ago
Fine let them have a whites only ceremony as well then. Yeah I bet that would go over real well. So basically it's ok for blacks to be exclusive and racist but not anyone else. Thanks for the heads up.

They say this isn't segregation, but it sure looks like it. It's just like the black students at other institutions who demand separate buildings just for them. Is MLK, Jr. turning over in his grave? You cannot have it both ways. You are either a part of this country or you're not. You want to be treated equally, yet your demands resonate as being racist because you still want to be separate from the rest of the US society.

The hypocrisy and denial that permeates within the black population reaches pinnacle levels being both comical and disgustingly pathetic and sad

Obama brought a lot of them out of the closet, so the rest of us decent people...can more easily recognize the lowlife scumbags.

"so many" and "a lot of them"?
Who exactly is the racist or low life scumbags??
Is the group that is planning a ceremony based on race?
Is it the group that is attending a ceremony based on race?
Is it the people that are commenting negatively about a ceremony based on race?

Yup Dirt...they don't even realize that THEY are being the racists here...THEY want to be SEPARATE from US.
I'm just pointing it out.
I think it's GOOD that the blacks graduate separately...I agree with the comment that the blacks ruin graduation with all their screaming and yelling. Blacks ruin a lot of things by their unruly actions.

That event is not a university-sponsored event. It is a separate, student-organized event that is not part of the university commencement. Look before you leap, verify before you post.

It still does not address the FACT that a group of people are organizing an event based on race...And to oppose such a race based event does not indicate a person is a racist.
I do not consider this event to be inclusive, I consider it to be divisionary. If you got an example of how this is going to improve racial division, I am all ears!

Carl Marks wrote in response to the question of whether communism would take us over in a war. Marks wrote that they would not overtake us in war OUR SCHOOLS would welcome them.
WE ARE DOING EXACTLY WHAT CARL MARKS PREDICTED.
Schools are removing Huckfinn from their libraries-IS THAT NOT THE SAME AS HITLER'S BOOK BURNING??????
Just the most recent act that came to my attention.
IS THAT NOT THOUGHT CONTROL PREDICTED IN ORWELL'S 1984???????????
Truth, honor, justice have become foolish. Under our legal system, it is not guilt or innocence, it is not right vs wrong IT IS WHO CAN DISTORT THE FACTS AND LIKE OJ GET AWAY WITH MURDER.

It doesn't matter that it's not part of the official graduation. WHAT would happen if the whites said to the blacks...we're having OUR own graduation ceremony and we don't want YOU there? Eh? What would be the reaction?
It still does not address the FACT that a group of people are organizing an event based on race...And to oppose such a race based event does not indicate a person is a racist.

Exactly...it doesn't matter which race you are...discrimination IS discrimination... DON'T think I want integration...what I'm saying is...LET THEM DO IT...and then we can use their precedence to start having OUR own events...sorry...blacks aren't welcome. LET them segregate themselves...the more that do it...the better. Maybe they'll leave our neighborhoods and segregate in other schools too. They can have their own wing...we stay on our side and you on yours.
This is the BEST thing that can happen.
Besides...white people are a minority now too...we're less than half the population now and Hispanics will be the majority in 30 years.
HAVING to include minorities is where the strife is.

They indoctrinate kids to become docile. That's about all they do. They don't teach any real life skills at least they didn't when I was in school. Nothing about budgeting, checkbooks, doing real world tasks. The "His-story" is evolving, white his-story replaced by minority his-tory. The whites are more and more the bad guys, the evil ones. And yet they came here...1/3 the population of the U.S. is foreign born or the child of a foreign born...100 million. And you WONDER how Hispanics can be the majority in 30 years?
We're a mix of 1984 and Brave New World. Until the collapse in 30 years when the "white world" full of technology you live in...is replaced by a 3rd world Mexico II. When minorities run things...and they will...because they'll elect HISPANICS into office...it's going to really suck. They bring their failed policies with them, their failed culture with them...replacing what WORKS...white western civilization...with what DOESN'T work...their homeland ideas and ways.
It's MONEY...money gets you anything. Away with murder. Even 10 y/o girls. Money is how evil spreads and grown. It ISN'T the ROOT of all evil...it helps evil thrive... It doesn't have to be. Evil PEOPLE with money causes great evil.
Innocent until proven poor.

Be careful with that statement. see the following:
"Although Prof. Rebecca Tuvel’s commonsense arguments are not new, they have elicited particular opprobrium because she represents the progressive academy and dared to publish them in Hypatia: A Journal of Feminist Philosophy.
In her article, titled “In Defense of Transracialism,” Tuvel notes that choosing one’s racial identity is no more difficult than choosing sexual identity, since both involve putting one’s subjective opinion of oneself ahead of objective biological realities.
“Considerations that support transgenderism seem to apply equally to transracialism,” and therefore society “should also accept transracial individuals’ decisions to change races,” she argued.
In response, the academic establishment rose up in collective histrionics, with more than 500 professors signing an open letter denouncing Tuvel’s paper, asserting that it “painfully reflects a lack of engagement beyond white and cisgender privilege.”
I googled it

She truly IS insane. Liberals who believe this are insane.
Insanity is simply an inability to grasp reality.
