Another example of the opposition measuring the current administration with different magnifying glass and optics and comments.
If a democrat said up was ok it would be ok. When a republican says up is ok it would be questioned by the democrats and the media.
If down was ok with a democrat it would be ok. When a republican says down is ok it would be questioned by the democrats and the media.
GOD forbid a republican would be so bold as to say it is sideways....when it really is sideways....the democrats and the media would be hailing the insanity of anyone who would question anything not being up or down.
That is how it works.
Partisan politics BS!

You CHOOSE to open your post with,"wish people would stop seeing everything in terms of their political party," Then, you continue to say in plainspeak you do not see yourself. "Donald Trump seems to be throwing out tricks to distract people from the very serious problems his Administration has."
Did YOU object when Hillary demanded a recount? Far as investigation did you not see that an investigation of Weiner a sexual pervert married to Huma Aberdeen, Hillary's confidant with whom Hillary CHOSE to share government E-mails that should have been on a secured server. NOT ONLY WAS WHAT HILLARY DID A CRIME FOR WHICH SHE SHOULD BE IN PRISON, where they were found CLEARLY shows WHY what she did is and should be a crime punishable with jail time and in the past a death sentence. Do a bit of reading and you will discover that Huma Aberdeen HAS NO SECURITY CLEARANCE and her family is tied to Saudi Arabia.
ONE THING WE DO AGREE ON IS HOW BADLY OUR POPULATION IS DIVIDED. I blame OBAMA for this.
Obama's fault or not, we are rid of Obama. The voters got rid of Obama's even farther left person Obama worked hard AND UNSUCCESSFULLY to INSTALL.
BEWARE THAT YOU HOLD ALL PEOPLE TO THE SAME CODE OF ETHICS. SADLY, I DO UNDERSTAND WITH OBAMA, THE CLINTONS, SORROS AS YOUR LEADERS YOU HAVE BEEN FORCED TO HOLD THE REPUBLICANS TO A FAR HIGHER STANDARD THEN THE PEOPLE YOU SUPPORT.

I, for one, welcome an investigation into voter fraud. Especially from the Republican point of view!
The president claims 3 million voters illegals voted in the last election.
Perhaps the commission will be able to investigate that claim.

Interpret the Constitution..."under the jurisdiction" clause PROPERLY and they're ALL illegal...all 50 million of them. The TRUE number of "illegal" votes is closer to 30 million.
They also need to work on who is a "person"...first blacks and now corporations...we truly are doomed.

That statement is like saying "Ready, Fire, Aim
Its been proven that voter fraud has been found in many states. Its now just a manner of how much
It was reported nationally that an illegal immigrant can buy any form of identification passport, driver license, social security card, etc for $300 or less.
There are states that actually issue legal forms of identification to illegal immigrants that qualify as ID to be used for voting.
Many states resist requiring photo ID as a requisite to casting a vote .
The right to vote is sacrosant. The right to vote is an obligation every legal American citizen should take seriously.
The right to vote allows us to choose the leaders we believe will serve best as stewards to preserve this union.
We should not want anyone who is a non-citizen compromising this process
None of this is new information, and so to suggest there is nothing to be gained for conducting this study is careless at minimum.
If this study confirms voter fraud does not exist it reinforces confidence in our national system of voting and we are the better for it.

And what do you call it when the whole leftist party insists on an investigation into a non-existent collusion between Trump and Russia? A DISTRACTION. Just another loser tool for the next campaign IF you can keep it going long enough. If you think that the only reason that the voter will elect a Democrat is that you can make the right look bad, better get ready for another defeat. You have nothing to offer. Hillary lost because she had nothing to offer the voter. She believed it was her turn, her being the only female to run, her being a Clinton, she deserved it. Her offer to the voter? She promised to continue Obama's failed policies. And she couldn't explain how she was going to pay for it.
No, if you want distraction, you have the ridiculous Russian-Trump collusion scam. America is just about to their peak of impatience and it will backfire on the left.
When they re-open a REAL corruption investigation, Hillary's felonies we will see a distraction that will seal the left's demise.

During the election that resulted in O's second term, ACORN was very active in Las Vegas. The (D) AG investigated and found widespread voter fraud. The last election that Dirty Harry won was also a farce. Harry was behind during the last week of the race. He cut a deal with the big casino owners, and thousands of illegal alien workers were bussed in shifts from the casinos to the polls. Harry won a squeaker.
Oh yes, and then there is a long history of Dem controlled funny elections in Chicago. And Tammany Hall in New York. My favorite of all time was Dem mayor Curly of Boston who was re-elected while behind bars serving time for corruption.

A reminder.....in 2004, the cries of voter fraud were in fact listened to and investigated. Republicans were sure it existed and when then Attorney General commissioned his US Attorneys to make this top priority.....
"Ashcroft commissioned the nation’s 93 U.S. attorneys to make voting fraud a priority of their offices. Over the next four years, those prosecutors launched more than 300 investigations. But in the end, the government had little to show for it. On July 26, 2006, the day before Bush signed a renewal of the Voting Rights Act, the Justice Department released a fact sheet summarizing the Voting Integrity Initiative’s accomplishments. Federal prosecutors had charged 119 people with election crimes and convicted just 86. The worst examples were vote-buying schemes in eastern Kentucky and West Virginia that helped keep local politicians in power. Cases that had fixated GOP officials—like the “major criminal enterprise” in St. Louis—were not substantiated. Instead, most of the cases involved individuals who had cast a single ballot that they shouldn’t have, or hadn’t even voted at all but simply had registered improperly. Some of them went to prison. At least one person was deported. The targets that ended up getting the most attention weren’t the alleged fraudsters but the handful of U.S. attorneys who didn’t push hard enough for prosecutions and were forced to resign.
“It’s remarkable that all of the U.S. attorneys had a mandate and were given adequate resources to raise this to the top of the pile,” says David Becker, who was a trial attorney in the voting section of the Justice Department until 2005 and is now executive director of the Center for Election Innovation and Research. “They all agree we found a handful of cases … and that was it.”
Pence has yet to launch his version of what Ashcroft attempted in 2002, and the very fact that the inquiry is not being run out of the Justice Department indicates that it might proceed very differently. But it wouldn’t be a waste of time for the former Indiana governor (who himself was accused of voter suppression in October) to spend some time studying what happened the last time a Republican administration went looking for a national web of illegal activity at the ballot box. If anything, the results of Pence’s commission might be even less spectacular than before. Elections experts say that’s because voter rolls are cleaner now than they were then, voting systems have been updated in many jurisdictions and stricter voter ID laws are in force. Yet, despite skepticism from high-ranking Republicans in Congress, some conservatives who were involved in the original investigation and who are pushing hardest for the new inquiry insist that the failure to prove widespread fraud is not evidence it doesn’t exist, only that the pursuit wasn’t aggressive enough. It’s a fixation that makes voting experts shake their heads.
“This has been done over and over again,” Becker says. “You don’t waste taxpayer resources without some evidence that an investigation is worthwhile. That’s called a fishing expedition.”

You want a little twist on this thread, how about all the states that are enacting voter id laws that make it hard for minorities to obtain one, and eliminating many polling arears in minority parts of their state causing lines or two or three hours o voting day.
When SC enacted their voter id law, one of their spokesman was interviewed by Fox News. This spokesman said that there were over 100,000 people registered in two places. Fox News reporter stated, "since this is the case, how can anyone argue that you don't need a voter id law." Any news reporter with a brain, would have asked, " how many of these people voted twice?" If you know that they were registered twice, you certainly knew if they voted twice.
If they don't find any substantial voter fraud, what are the chances that voting will be made easier for minority US citizens? How about none!

So, you are saying that minorities are too stupid to get ID's??? You sound like a racist.
I guess you are too young to remember when there was NO early voting. Yes, we stood in line to vote. Some of you probably stand in longer restaurant lines to eat.
Besides, it's a myth that minorities would not be able to vote if a voter ID law was passed.
And, in case you forgot or maybe you didn't; the U.S. Constitution says (and that's federal law for those of you that say it's flexible) that ONLY US citizens may vote in our elections. How do you prove that you are a US citizen? Well, one way is to have voter ID. If I was governor, I would put a copy of that law at every election polling station and not allow anyone a vote unless they could prove they were a U.S. citizen. I would like to see the Supreme Court fight that one.

You are a clown. Registration was during working hours. Believe it or not minorities work. A lot of the inner city minorities don't own cars. So, they are asking for picture ids that these people don't have.
What did the Penn. legislator say when Penn. voter id laws was passed. "we just gave Penn. to Romney." The judge that overturn that law knew damn right well, who was targeted to make to harder for them to vote. Why didn't Penn. fight the ruling to the Supreme Court? Because they aren't as stupid as you.
I guess the population hasn't increased over the past forty years, and people aren't living longer. Neither of those would be a good reason lines are longer now than in the past. Hell no. Not in your world anyway.
Make it easier for a person to get a voter id, and requiring a voter id might fly. But making it easier to get a voter id is the last thing people in these Republican control states want. If they had their way, blacks would still be 3/5 of a person.

The left ALWAYS has an excuse for their inability and mental disabilities.
You still singled out "minorities." That is racist, and now you are doing a Michael Jackson moonwalk to worm your way out of your RACIST comment. You will likely be eaten by your own for that.:icon_hungry:
Besides, I wonder what your excuse would be for digital fingerprint identification. No photos involved. Just get fingerprinted when you register and you are good to go. Are you going to suggest that "minorities" do not have a means of transportation?
Like I said before, the left always has an excuse for their lack of ability.

Because the "left" is MOSTLY women and minorities who AREN'T equals to white men. Never were, never will be.
Can't beat us...breed us out. Replace white men with minorities. Destroy the country.

Your inability to accept the truth is a sure sign that you are a Republican. The Scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz must be someone that you want to emulate. Keep singing, "if I only had a brain". Someone might actually listen, but I wouldn't count on it.
So, what you saying in no uncertain terms is that every Republican in the Penn, SC, and Texas that voted for their voter id laws are racist. It is clear that they were targeting minorities. You are saying that anyone that points that out is a racist, but not the people that acted like racists. If that makes sense to you, seek help.
The right always has the ability no the obligation to act like fools. It is a must before the right will let you into their club of the insane.
You can't get it through your thick skull that Republican control states are making it as hard as they can for minorities to get any kind of voter id. The things that they are asking for to obtain a voter id is a clear example of their intent.
This clown that we have for president wouldn't have given Obama a voter id. He has NEVER accepted that Obama was born in this country. We want people like him to determine who is a citizen or not.
Right! keep singing, "if I only had a brain", and you might meet Trump. Trump might shed his fancy suits, and show his true identity a direct descendent of the brainless scarecrow. Trump certainly wants to embrace anyone that believes his nonsense. He has his own news station, Fox News.
Any time that I want to laugh, I watch them, and they never fail to disappoint. Correct me if I am wrong. I briefly watched Fox News this morning, they are trying to float the idea that the Russians didn't hack the Dems, and send it to Wikileaks as 17 intelligent agency have stated, but it was a Dem turncoat that was killed in DC. The DC police are writing it off as a robbery gone wrong to hide the real truth. Fox theme song is now "if I only had a brain".
