I think this whole wanna cry virus thing was a ruse to tighten down the internet and out law the blockchain crypto currencies.

It's too simple a story...the CIA loses the tools that were used in the virus, the virus is born, infects...supposedly...a lot of the worlds computers...miraculously some guy keeps it from invading America with some cheap fix...and the hackers are using bitcoin to get paid.

They DO want to tighten down the internet...they DO want to eliminate crypto currencies. It's a win-win and we're not even SURE it was a real threat to start with. A lot of pictures of computer screens but not many stories about utilities and hospitals failing.
