how can the led lights that are installed on the roof lines be allowed to blink an change colors on a home and make it look like a massage parlor,, and a small white cross be in violation? maybe we could get them to make huge white crosses out of LEDS to hang on the side of the homes and have them blinking 24/7?

We saw them tonight in Silver Lake, it was sad. Must be one neighbor beefing with another, it wasn't to make the home look better. Very poor Feng Shui. I would pick the white cross anyday.

Feng Shui - the last time I had Feng Shui at a Sushi restaurant I did not feel very well the next day. You must have a cast iron stomach, Nucky.

The key to eating Feng Shui and not getting ill, is to take one thing from one side of your plate, then another item from the opposite side...always keeping your plate in balance.

Noticed the lights on homes on the golf course driving home at night. South of LSL. Some look like a airplane runway. It reminds me of a commercial building lighting to attract you to stop (hence massage pun). Lights are bright enough to see across the golf course and down the fairways

Tacky.
Since it's ON their homes can they be breaking deed restrictions?

We have color changing LED lights, indirect lighting in the lanai, hence you cannot actually see the LEDs, and inside the birdcage on the beams. While I will admit that the ones in the birdcage can be seen from the roads, they are almost invisible to my neighbors. We do tend to change the lights depending on the season or holiday, so yes you will see red, white, and blue shortly, and I may set a slow flashing for the 4th of July. These are only on from dusk to around 11 pm. My neighbors have no objections to the lights, as a matter of fact I talked to them before they were installed. Also, I have actually gotten some complements from people who realize we are the owners of the house.
The primary reason for having these installed was safety when we are having a party or guests over, the birdcage is quite dark at night, and with these set to white and 50%, they provide a very nice lighting level, very close to a bright full moon.
As for the original comment, if these were set to rapid flashing, or chasing type lighting schemes, then I could see where these could be annoying.

I am curious too. Does this break deed restriction rules? Somebody once said, "if you obey ALL the rules you miss all the fun". Anonymous. Maybe so.

There is a time and a place for everything.
Some would like it and many would not. The deed restrictions are good because not everyone has good taste.

Not a single person was forced to buy here. And not a single person need stay if they don't like the way a CDD is run. Their home can be sold and usually at a profit if it is clean, appropriately priced, not smoked in or peed in a lot by animals. People can live in bigger homes nearby and not have to pay the approximately $150 amenity fee levied for all no matter how big or how small their homes are.
Nope. If a person doesn't like it here then they can choose to live elsewhere. The cost of moving is much less here than in any other part of the country.
There is no need for anyone who feels that the Morse family is unfair or getting "sinners back in line" to stay here and feel abused.

Sounds like feuding neighbors. We’ll know for sure when we see searchlights aimed at the house next door.

NO ONE HELD A GUN TO YOUR HEAD OR PRESSURED YOU TO BUY HERE.
Some folks like to stir the pot. I think they feel lonely for others who are on the same wave length or perhaps they miss younger people.
Gracie, who has never seen one segment of The Game of Thrones but can still smell a rat and spot a pot stirrer.

I've not seen these tacky lights yet in my travels around TV but these lanai lights you have sound fabulous to me. I know there are rules but when I see something unique around here it always brings a smile to my face....as long as it's not a neglected, overgrown yard.

I believe what OP is referring to is a home just south of Mallory CC on the golf course. The owner built a monstrous 2, yes, TWO story addition to the home which has led lights outlining the roof of the addition. We see it all the time when we travel south on Morse. Usually the lights are bright blue but have seen them green. Have not seen them change between colors like in a sequence. Glad I don't live next door.

Cool, We'll have to take a drive and see it. Sounds like the owners are probably a lot of fun and are enjoying life. :) Always remember what some feel is tacky others may find beautiful or just plain fun. I prefer a house to have a homey feel and some individuality. I'm glad I live in an area that people ae allowed to make their house "their" home. Others like the more sterile look and if that makes them happy I'm all for it. To each their own. At this time in our lives do we really need to be so judgmental of others? Relax enjoy your twilight years :) Peace :)
