This has been rumored for a long time. Now ABC Liquors has submitted plans.
The 11,000 sq ft. store will be in Trailwinds Village facing 466A. It will be on the western edge of Trailwinds, about half way between the Trailwinds traffic light and the Pinellas Place traffic light.

I'm starting to think nothing is going in there, just grass.

It's just the calm before the storm. I stopped by yesterday and spoke with the #1 guy who supervised the project from day 1..just to say a job well done.
His trailer has left...landscaping is ongoing...and Construction will begin very soon...Not a rumor..

The environmental fence is up around the Lowe's lot, and they are moving dirt.

Now the general contractors for ABC Liquors, Aldi, Circle K, Lowe's and a building with five retail store fronts have the "green light" to begin.

Does anybody remember when similar talk was abundant about what was going to go into the "Target" shopping complex on Rolling Acres?
And then again about what was going in the then proposed shopping center with Best Buy and Kohl's?
There much more to come to the new areas surrounding, near or adjacent to route 44.
They built it and they came.
They are building again and it WILL come as well.
