I got a letter from them in the mail today - don't fall for this, it's NOT official! It's some company trying to sell you water filters or something similar. There should be a law against bogus "official notices" like this.

It's not exactly a scam - but close. It is supposed be be a "water test" but it turns out to be a hard and high pressure sell for a whole house water filter system at vastly inflated prices. The "water test" is fake and just a way to get their foot in your door. Comparison shop is you want a water filter system and don't be pressured into making an immediate decision to spend thousands.

Another reason consumers should be able to opt out of all third class/ bulk mailings.
Like many things bad, lobbies control these things.
It apprears, Usps has a free service that gives you a pic of your 1st class mail. Could eliminate most trips to mailbox.

Without junk mail you could go away for a long vacation and not have your box filled with "you won a car keys "
