Finally after a year or more of competing in trivia on FunTrivia for this victory I did it but by only 10 points. 1693 to 1703. 18/20 questions right in 97 seconds got me a score of 1703. My best is around 1920. 20/20 in 80 seconds. I have lost by less than that before. One I believe at some point.

I faced a man or woman from Africa on Friday's knockout round. Some of these people are quite interesting to share messages with even if the FunTrivia people watch them for any kind of ungentlemanly conduct which will get you booted from the site immediately.

The competitor I faced apapa is from Lagos, Nigeria. I believe I have lost to him/her a few times before. There are some world class trivia players on the FunTrivia site but the identities of the players is in their control for the most part. I have had some nice chats with players from China, Florida, Minnesota, New York City and State, and many other places since I joined FunTrivia around May of 2013.

You do face tougher and tougher opponents as you move up the leader board. Yesterday's 20 questions covered Australian geography, American movies, The Old Testament, among many other things. Cricket and English TV shows sometimes come up in questions with a lot of soccer, Harry Potter, and other stuff.

Hope I can get that 33rd win much sooner than I was able to get that 32nd. A year almost-- 364 days, between my 31st and 32nd weekly victory. I have been very busy with other stuff though and not spending a lot of time on FunTrivia playing quizzes and daily trivia jousts.

I did pick up two wins this week. I often am stuck eating a donut all week long. That is a loss in the first day.
