Can anyone recommend someone that could install sprinkler head donuts. I need these installed thursday afternoon or Friday morning. It is for a new home, not replacement donuts. Thanks for your help, Nick.

Massey did mine for $5 each.

Probably any lawn service company can do that, but they're very easy to install yourself unless one is physically or mentally unable to.

I signed on with Dean's and they don't do them. I can't do them myself due to torn shoulder muscles. We are leaving on Tuesday, Monday is a holiday and I'm hoping someone that does them will read this and have time to contact me.

I wasn't physically or mentally unable, just lazy. I thought $5 each was a bargain, because I didn't have to buy anything, do anything, or get dirty.

The mantra of most guys I know in TV. To each, his own.......
To the OP - contact Larry Griffaw @ 970-306-3790. He's a local handyman with his sons that does jobs like this on short notice.

You're welcome. Larry is retired Army and him and his sons are real hard workers; they offer a variety of other services - home improvement, landscaping, lawn care...

I suggest Dunkin Donuts, but you'll have to install them yourself. Trust me, you won't mind!
Sorry friend. I just read the title of your thread and I couldn't resist. Massey Services installed the donuts in our yard, but that's because they service my irrigation system.

I have not used donuts and have no problem. Why do others need them?

Helps prevent damage to sprinkler heads from lawn equipment. Consider yourself lucky you haven't had one damaged...yet.

Let's see, donut coat $1.18 retail and take about 3 mins to lay in the hole the donut cutter made. But the donut cutter costs 24.95 retain if you don't want to do it with Bowie knife. I'm a do it yourself guy when possible and save $200 plus depending on the number to be installed. Basically if you put 6 down you've paid for the cutter.

Depends on how lush your lawn is and if they are flush with ground. If they stick up there good chance they will eventually get broken.
