Former Obama CIA chief John Brennan in testimony offered NO evidence of Trump campaign cooperation with Russian intelligence. Instead he spoke of CIA fears that Russia would try and recruit, blackmail/ trick Trump colleague into being wittingly or unwittingly agents of influence. This is a realistic fear. But it is not collusion.
The Washington Post wrote details of an alleged e-mail exchange showing liberals trusting in then Attorney General Loretta Lynch to corral an inquiry into Hillary Clinton's e-mail practices..........................
Holman Jenkins, WSJ 5/27/17
This is a long article but the bottom line is now it is beginning to look like Russian Intelligence planted all of this leaving egg on everyone's face including our intelligence community
That's a big gotcha ya

I bet the Russians love to laugh at the libtards more than we do. I used to feel sorry for libtards, but they claim to be so educated, but they are definitely so naive and simpleminded.

I bet the Russians are also getting a kick out of the dumb right wing nuts. I used to feel sorry for the ignorant morons, they are so naive and uneducated.
Personally, I wear the term "libtard" as a badge of honor, if it distances me from trump, an avowed conservative. He is now the laughingstock of all of Europe. As he would say, with his great intellect, "sad".

Like I said, NAIVE. Trump, "an avowed conservative"????? That's funny also, and proof of naivety. Trump is just a reformed Democrat. Conservative? He's working on it, but still has a long way to go. He is still spending, isn't he?
But, I am glad that you wear the "LIBTARD" label as a "badge of honor." ...:a20: You must have pretty low self-esteem if that is a badge of honor. ...:D

CNN is such a bunch of ****ies. More scorned women that need to get vindictive with Trump. Where's all of the coverage on Obama's relationship with Russia or Hillary's? After all, a lot of pay for play exchanged hands. Actual laws broken in the last administration, but lots of nothing but accusations in this one.

Oh yeah? Prove it. Someone here pick a popular topic and we'll have MD add some blatant lies and see if it sticks.
And no...people DON'T think...they're being invaded, they're losing their country...and yet they argue over political bullsh!t like it means something.

Why would they want to do actual research? All the need to know comes from Limbaugh, Breitbart, Alex Jones, and Hannity to name a few. These people are the pillars of our society, and their objectiveness is unquestionable. If they say it, it must be true.

This was not my spelling but stiffening of the fingers a natural progression with aging.
However even in the best publication in this nation typographical errors are often found.
There are several reasons for such occurrences. Most people understand. Most people would not be so petty as to pick the fly (s---) out of the pepper.
It was easy to separate the conservative from the progressive responses to this thread as he latter defaulted to alinsky tactic of deflection.
I intentionally spelled alinsky with a lower case (a) out of politeness because he doesn't deserve a capital A and I wish to remain reticent since I have nothing nice to say about him.

This person Rubicon has never said anything bad about anybody during my time on TOTV that I recall yet you attack this person as if they were your child. How low will you go? You attack me and make accusations about charecter? You pretend to be friends with Tal because you defended him. He doesn't need to be defended he handles himself well. He has views that don't always align with mine but he is my friend and it bothers me that he had a person as cruel as you to rescue him. If you ever threw me a life preserver I would throw it back.
We can conclude several major item's, you are consistent. You are a Clown. You are an Equal Opportunity Offender. Let me ask you, when you did work do you realize how happy your co-workers were when you called out sick? They were thrilled and happy and sat around applauding throughout the day, they probably bought a cake and celebrated. So maybe since you have a hard time acting like an adult and continue to attack very good people maybe you should take your mind reading reading act on the road and become cold some more. I predict that you will turn on your own political friends. You seem to have turned on your country. Sit back and enjoy the improvements that are coming from President Trump.

I do hope Donald John Trump takes on the law librarianship profession as well as lawyers and their control of access to meaningful information. This could really level the playing field for many but it would take decades to really see any huge change in the culture of law schools and the like.
I am not waiting though as I track what people actually do rather what they say they are going to do. Trump has only came through on a few of his campaign promises. I disagree with many of these positions of Trump but also really feel for the people who have put great faith in him.

First of all, you are either lying through your teeth or are dumber than I thought if you say that RubiTHECon doesn't constantly denigrate entire demographics...of those that don't share his politics.
That you would even propose such a blatant lie, exposes yourself as either blindly partisan...or just a goofy not-to-bright nutjob.
I vote for both. :1rotfl:
And that you constantly try, and fail, to emulate your friend Graceless-the-twit in trying to guess other people's history/lives...let me offer one for yourself.
I'm guessing that you've always tried to be the fat, friendly kid in school and at the office, who makes jokes, sucks up to the cool kids/productive workers...in the hope that they won't notice that you're pretty much useless otherwise. :D
Sooooo, how ya like dem apples...Nutty? :ho:
As for "improvements coming from Chump," just thinking that (much less saying it out loud), shows a complete lack of intelligence of what has been happening...in the 4 short months he's been POTUS. :ohdear:
So until you either become more intelligent (highly unlikely at this age), or start comprehending what is actually happening (also high unlikely)...you really should STFU.

Dear Poster
Thank you. You are a welcome addition to this forum
As to your comments pretending to be friends with"Tal". Recall
"keep your friends close but your enemies closer"
I once had a young female attorney I was mentoring. Her father was CEO of one of the Fortune 500 companies.
One day when speaking with her I began with "remember keep your friends close and"...when she interrupted me to finish and explain that her father had explained that to her.
My reply was "yes, but did he also explain to you that to be effective one must be able to assess who is "friend" and who is "foe".
I met her father at her wedding. He thanked me for my help in assisting her with her climb on the corporate ladder.

Tal, he would be easy to see at any Town Square. Just look for the person sitting alone talking to a Soccer Ball and calling it Wilson. The other tip offs may be grading papers for spelling errors, a pocket protector, glasses like Clark Kent or criticizing each person who passes him about something. I'm not putting anybody on ignore, hence the signature on my posts. I call 'em as I see 'em and to hell with what anybody thinks. This entire thread is based on such one sided view of the news it is embarassing that another American could get sucked into this.
This is the kind of rhetoric that is daily on the Russian websites and well read obviously by our American cohorts here in The Villages.
I have no idea if our President "colluded" with Russia, but I do know he goes to EXTREME MEASURES to keep it from being looked into. An American President trying to stop AND LETS BE CLEAR.....HE TRIED TO STOP THE INVESTIGATION WHEN IT WAS JUST ABOUT RUSSIA TRYING TO INTERFERE WITH OUR ELECTION. into an foreign power trying to interfere with the election.
And he continues to protest and I am not sure what he is protesting frankly...
"TRUMP, on his Oval Office meeting May 10 with Russia's foreign minister and ambassador: "Just so you understand, I never mentioned the word or the name 'Israel,' never mentioned it in that conversation. And they're all saying I did. So you have another story wrong." — remarks at a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday.
THE FACTS: Trump is denying saying something that he wasn't alleged to have said in the first place. His comment steers around the issue that emanated from that meeting — that he divulged classified information about an Islamic State threat in his conversation with the Russians, perhaps in a compromising way that would enable Russia to trace the source of the intelligence.
Trump is not alleged to have told the Russians specifically that the information came from the Israelis. Israel's link was established separately, in news reports.

Check how his business are going...check how his daughter and son in law are doing......"First Daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner, a real estate developer turned adviser to the President, have failed to disclose their lavish artwork collection reportedly worth millions, according to a report."

Knowing that the idiot(s) will use the term they found in one of those Russian website oft visited and say whomever is for TRUTH and not having a LYING PRESIDENT is suffering from "Trump Derangement Syndrome", and I am very close to having good accurate links to tie this particular term to one of those mentioned websites that you folks like to visit.
But found this good retort to use of this term, and when you think of it, using that term is just plain ignorant......He had done NOTHING thus far but negative things....talk and lie, etc. No legislation, none on the horizon, a budget that is dead on arrival in Congress, a promise to unite americans flowing away quickly without even a try.
""So what if Trump only told the complete truth throughout 4% of his campaign, and had to settle out of court for that fraud trial, and that he reacts like a spoilt brat on Twitter to any kind of criticism? Geez, you libtard SJW snowflakes just have accept democracy won and stop exercising your right to free speech! You're so negative with your Trump Derangement Syndrome!"

Just put anyone who upsets you on your Ignore List and you can see what they post with the View Post feature if you are so inclined. But it will hide it again after you leave that thread.
I do not need more idiots in my life. I like it that the Moderator is starting to do his or her or their job on the Regular Boards and holding people accountable for personal slurs. They abound on here but the Ignore List does work well.
Tal, I agree with your suggestion its basic philosophy..."if a tree falls in the forest and your not there did it make a sound"? the ability to place another poster on your ignore list is like that:D
Tal ,you take a lot of ribbing and I want you to know that I admire your style in its handling because a weaker man would have buckled. My compliments, and again my admiration.

Our President will not even acknowledge this. THIS IS HOW A LEADER RESPONDS...HE STANDS UP FOR HIS COUNTRY.
"French President Emmanuel Macron on Monday leveled a remarkable criticism of two Russian media outlets — with Russian President Vladimir Putin standing by his side.
Macron, at a joint news conference with Putin in Paris, was asked by a reporter about his refusal to allow access at his campaign headquarters to some Russian outlets.
Macron, whose campaign was the target of a massive cyberattack just before his election victory last month that cybersecurity firms have traced to Russian operatives, accused Russia Today and Sputnik of spreading misinformation.
"Russia Today and Sputnik have been influential outlets which at several times have spoken mistruths about me and my campaign," Macron said, according to an English translation. "And that's why they were not invited to my headquarters. All media outlets, including Russian ones, have had access to my campaign. Relationships are always the same."
"So it was serious that foreign media outlets interfered by saying serious mistruths during a Democratic campaign. And I will not give into that in any way," he added. "But Russia Today and Sputnik have not behaved as media outlets and journalists, but behaved as organs of influence, propaganda, and false propaganda."

This guy, the new French President should be watched. He understands what REAL leadership requires.
"Donald Trump, the Turkish president or the Russian president see relationships in terms of a balance of power, Macron said. “That doesn’t bother me. I don’t believe in diplomacy by public abuse, but in my bilateral dialogues I won’t let anything pass.”

he speaks to his followers who love him on here and elsewhere......he lies and they swear to it....he hates and they hate right along with him.......
"President Trump on Tuesday retweeted a Fox News report citing an anonymous source that pushes back on another report that White House aide Jared Kushner tried to establish backchannel communications with Moscow.
Trump's retweet comes just days after the president blasted the use of anonymous sources in news reports.
The Fox News report Trump shared is titled "Jared Kushner didn't suggest Russian communications channel in meeting, source says." It pushes back on a Washington Post story last week that said Kushner, who is also Trump's son-in-law, in December sought to establish a backchannel line of communication between the Trump transition team and Moscow during a meeting with Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak.
The Fox News item says Kushner spoke with Kislyak about Syria during the December meeting. It added that during that meeting, the Russians "broached the idea of using a secure line between the Trump administration and Russia, not Kushner."
It cites a source familiar with the matter and says the idea of a permanent back channel was not talked about.
Trump on Sunday, though, went after leaking of information and warned people not to trust stories that include the words "sources say."

Has the President of the United States ever cheered on congress on this investigation ? Has he ever said, even close.....our country was attacked, cyberly, and we need to get to the bottom of it no matter as long as we get the truth or even close to what a President should be saying.
REMEMBER....this was a congressional probe into Russia meddling, and from that grew into an investigation of Trump campaign. This is not and never was a witch hunt no matter what he tells you lovers and followers. This investigation was allowing them to go where the evidence takes them
"One of President Donald Trump’s closest confidants, his personal lawyer Michael Cohen, has now become a focus of the expanding congressional investigation into Russian efforts to influence the 2016 campaign.
Cohen confirmed to ABC News that House and Senate investigators have asked him “to provide information and testimony” about any contacts he had with people connected to the Russian government, but he said he has turned down the invitation.
“I declined the invitation to participate, as the request was poorly phrased, overly broad and not capable of being answered,” he told ABC News in an email Tuesday.
After Cohen rejected the congressional requests for cooperation, the Senate Select Intelligence Committee voted unanimously on Thursday to grant its chairman, Sen. Richard Burr of North Carolina, and ranking Democrat, Sen. Mark Warner of Virginia, blanket authority to issue subpoenas as they deem necessary."

CNN should of had they're FCC license pulled for giving the DNC debate questions IMO. PROVEN cheaters and democrat propaganda machine IMO.

Why a Russia investigation when there is no evidence of any crime committed? Even Kushner's alleged contact with the Russians is legit, so why the big deal? Do you liberals really think that by milking this until the next election, it is going to get you more votes? I believe that there are a lot of folks that are going to be blaming you liberals for congress not working together to get things done. Where's all the work in congress? Certainly not from the left. They won't even let Trump have the staff he needs to run this country. Not even Obama had to go through this when he built his staff. Good luck with your "the Russians are coming, the Russians are coming" conspiracy.

If Hillary can get away with REAL FELONY CRIMES, then innuendos of whatever it is that the left is trying to prove, invent or manufacture is surely ridiculous.
NO one on the left has even proved that there has been a crime perpetrated, and yet they must have an investigation and a special prosecutor, to prosecute WHAT? You all do not realize how STUPID you appear. And obviously you do not even have the smarts enough to care........:a20:
But, like I said you will milk it out until the next campaign because you can't run on ANYTHING that Americans want you to do. They reject your socialist, controlling nature.
Hillary was just on TV telling the world that she lost because the Democrats are bankrupt, did not support her and the media was against her. This is what you have to offer.

Rocky, see post #51. Not going to waste my effort repeating it for you.
Sorry, but just because someone does not agree with the one that wastes his vote, knowing he is wasting it, does not mean that they are "damn stupid." On the other hand, one could make the assumption that anyone that votes for someone that's not on the ballot, might be a bit mentally impaired. But, enough about YOU.
Instead of making a fool of yourself by having a prissy fit, why not tell us where you do not agree with my comment. After all, unlike the left that reads minds and intentions of what could have, would have or might have occurred in this administration, I cannot read your mind to know what you are ranting about? Or, can you not discuss the subject?
Or maybe you would like to agree to discuss our lack of rain in The Villages?

This is what will happen. The world will soon learn that Donald Trump is actually broke and owes millions and millions to failed investments. The Russians were the only people to loan him money. Because he could not get any loans after SIX BANKRUPTCY's. So now the money coming in to Trump and his properties is actually one giant money laundering concern. This story has already broke on the other side of the Atlantic. Watch and see.

Time line.....US Attorney Preet Bharara, who was called to Trump Towers and assured by Trump himself he would stay on

First directly to your comments. I agree no one should debate or agree to be interviewed publicly without agreement on the rules and guidelines.
As to debates, my view is a need for spontaneity because I want to gauge the honesty of the candidate; albeit a candidate should be able to anticipate the broad range of question .
As to journalist/reporters their preoccupation is to catch people they interview off guard. I have run across a few of them that had the morals of alley cats

Like I said, NAIVE. Trump, "an avowed conservative"????? That's funny also, and proof of naivety. Trump is just a reformed Democrat. Conservative? He's working on it, but still has a long way to go. He is still spending, isn't he?
But, I am glad that you wear the "LIBTARD" label as a "badge of honor." ...:a20: You must have pretty low self-esteem if that is a badge of honor. ...:D
TRUMP as I had hoped when I voted for him has, as confirmed by your post, shown he is left of the far right and right of the far left.
