I know this has probably come up before, but I need to sound off. My complaint is people that advertise in the classifieds on TOTV site. They don't post any way to contact them. How do they expect to sell their items? This past week, there were 3 items I was interested in but no way to contact the sellers!:(

To notify the seller of your interest, you send them a personal message.

Click on their screen name in the upper left and a drop down menu will appear.

You can then select "send a private message"

You can then choose to include your phone number, personal e-mail, or your talk of the village screen name as a contact.

It may well be a pain for you. But a lot of people choose not to include a telephone number for security reasons.
So .... if you want to buy the item, please PM the seller!

I am looking for a bike, and I have followed the instructions above and pm-d people and I have NEVER received a reply! Some people do not know how to reply to a pm.

Just keep trying! Don't get discouraged as it really does work!! I have bought and sold with much success!

If you are having trouble with classifieds, please try this:
Log out, then log back in again. Yes, even though it says (at the top green bar, right side)
"Welcome (your username)" which would normally indicate that you're already logged in, you're not! (at least for classifieds you're not.)
Try it.

Might need to do it every once in a while, but it works for me every time the contact info doesn't appear.

It also makes the "Post Ad" and "Edit" buttons appear again.

I am looking for a bike, and I have followed the instructions above and pm-d people and I have NEVER received a reply! Some people do not know how to reply to a pm.I think in some cases the item is already sold. And the seller doesn't have the courtesy to update the ad or send a quick PM in reply.
