I went to the Orlando airport last night to pick someone up.

I got there about 9:30 PM and the police had blocked the exit from the highway that is normally used to enter the airport. I joined a long line of cars waiting to exit. Someone had googled the situation and found out what was going on. I got out of my car and spoke with someone from another car and was told about that there was a man with a gun in the airport.

Eventually, the police had us leave. I followed my car's GPS instructions to another entrance to the airport and was able to enter the area for Terminal B arrivals. Terminal A was shut down. Flights had all been diverted to Terminal B, so there were a lot of cars picking people up at Terminal B. Fortunately, because of cell phones I was communicating with the person I was picking up, so I knew exactly where he was waiting. Exiting the airport was no problem.
