We took a trip to Tennessee last week & found this Kill Deer Bird sit'in on her nest.........Enjoy!

These are the coolest birds. Before I knew what a kill deer does, I encountered one in a Michigan marina, running around the ground holding one wing out as if it were broken. I looked it up and found out that it's what they do to protect their nest--run around away from the nest pretending to be injured in order to lure potential predators away from the nest.
