Why is it that we cannot get Trump, Spicer , the head of the EPA and most Republican Congressmen to tell America whether or not they are for or against climate control measures. it is not a difficult question !!!

I would be more interested in your providing this forum the scientific data that unequivocally proves 1) carbon emissions as the sole cause of global warming 2) the continued increase of temperature due to the use of carbon.
As to your question pertaining climate control measures, the United states has substantially done more than any other nation given its CAFE standards for car, regulations on coal and the premiere factor of fracking
Poster tell you liberal friends the "sky is not falling" and hysteria is bad for the heart and nerves.

CO2 contributes little, at most a few percent...water vapor is the biggest at over 90%

You might expand your view by READING some books on the subject.
Your view if you admit it to us or more important if you admit it to yourself is BLINDLY ANTI-REPUBLICAN AND ANTI-TRUMP.
Far as global warming it has happened many times throughout the history of the earth. Our current period of global warming was predicted by Einstein and as he explained it has to do with a RECURRING change in the tilt of the earth.
People like Al Gore and apparently you have turned global warming into a religion. You simply cannot argue with a RELIGIOUS FANATIC.

Right now...in "our winter" the earth is closest to the sun. It helps moderate the winters right now. As the orbits change, as perturbations change, we will slowly drift into a new position where the sun is FARTHEST during our winter. That is when things will change...probably another ice age. The southern hemisphere isn't affected as much as it's mostly water and water moderates seasonal temperature swings. The northern hemisphere winters and the suns output effects are more influential in the northern hemisphere.
CO2 doesn't do much at all as far as a greenhouse gas goes. Water vapor..."clouds"...does so much more...over 900% more.

Your question would have to be more specific, maybe a link. Duh

Are you by chance a Disney character ?? Where in my original question did I take a position on global climate control?? I simply asked a question why is it that political leaders cannot say yes or no to global warming . Thanks Goofy !!

It's not a question that can be answered with a simple yes or no. And despite what you say, it is not a simple question.
What exactly would you define as climate control measures? Do you think that everyone would agree on what constitutes climate control measures? Do you think that human beings can actually control the climate?
To what degree is climate change going to affect the earth and the people on it? Is this a catastrophic situation or is it more like the common cold and temporary?
If we spend trillions of dollars on what might be defined by some as climate control measures what will be the outcome? Will it stave off the complete end of the world or will it slow it down by a few weeks?
What are other countries doing and contributing to the cause? If the U.S. spends trillions and cuts our climate-harming activities to zero, will it matter if China, India and several other countries do nothing?
If we enter into an agreement with other countries to all do our part, can we be that they will honor their agreement?
Your question reminds me of the statement used so often by the left. "97% of all scientists agree that climate change is real and that humans contribute to it."
The problem with that statement is it's not really very specific about exactly what the scientist agree on. For instance, how bad is the climate change going to affect the planet? Again is it a life ending illness or a mild rash that will go away on its own? Is this a temporary cyclical condition or is it an unstoppable force that will bring about the end of the earth? How much are humans responsible for the condition? To state that 97% of scientists agree on something is saying nothing without specifics.
How effective are any measures that we might take going to be in the long term? If this is going to lead to a catastrophic event, can we actually prevent it? What are we willing to give up in order to try to mediate it? In other words, what are we buying and how much will it cost?
No, this is not a simple yes or no question.

Dear OP:
The simple and most truthful response to your question wasn't answered because it is a rhetorical question. it can be expanded upon by asking why is it our political leaders can never give a simple "yes"or "no" to any issue pressed upon them?
the subject matter of climate change/global warming is so immense and dynamic there isn't a computer model to capture such a question. Those claiming doom are doing so out of hubris, fear or greed.
Those advocating doom and gloom have been around since biblical times

Anyone have some rationale for the President of the United States mocking the Mayor of London at this time ?
Making America great....?
OR
IF TRUE, why the President of the United States, during a visit to NATO, would on his own delete support for article 5 and put his entire cabinet on defense ?
Making America great....?

OR, maybe you are just looking at it skewed as always.
You didn't vote so you have no right to criticize.....
