Eric Holder 2½: The Smell of Fear

A few months ago, a rather perspective observer of the political scene made a comment and follow-up on Mr. Holder. Some might categorize these views as brilliant, a true foretaste of the future. I tend to think of them as common sense.

I realize Janeane Garofalo (as intelligent as she is beautiful) would accuse me of being a racist for the following comment, but I fear the Eric Holder will likely be among the most politically driven Attorneys General in our history. I believe he will be one of the most active of the administrations hatchet men.

What makes you say that?

Without going into his history, he was given the big hammer by Obama today. This puts the onus on Holder to carry the "attack the Bush administration" torch while allowing Obama to continue to say that he looks only to the future and doesn't dwell on the past. This way, Obama can go well into 2012 caveatting all his actions with an insinuated, implied, or even explicit blaming of Bush.

Or did you question that Janeane Garofalo is as intelligent as she is beautiful?

And it is just beginning.

The only reason to bring these investigations now is because Obama's rating are tanking. His health care plan is getting too much of the "wrong" attention and he needs a diversion. We've got to stop paying attention to what he's doing and remember that the important thing is that we are supposed to continue to blame Bush. Ever notice on any talking heads show when someone begins to question what Obama is actually doing that the Liberal panelist will immediately begin to bash Bush.

could be.....no matter what Bush did or said, one can never say there was ever an incident from him or his staff that he hated America for any reason what so ever. The same CANNOT be said for the Obamas and those they surround themselves with.

That fact, just like on health care, is starting to seep into the sensitivity of we the people.

Witch hunts are nothing more than a diversion. It takes up the politicians time, the medias print space and air time.
