I did the same thing over here in St. James; heard the sirens coming up St. Charles so I ran into the house.

My neighbors are safe. I did not dance nekkid or dressed.

Thank you!

Hooray, I saw a few minutes ago from web cams that it was raining at all 3 town squares!

Thank you God for answering my prayer. People, animals and plants at TV desperately need the rain. Please come again soon. Let it pour, let it pour, let pour some more please.

I watch the radar daily and it appears to have been raining a bit most of the last week around Fenney. Does anyone know if that is true?

1.5 inches in Pinellas at 4 pm so far, looks like more on the way from Accuweather.

We are getting so much rain here in East TN (every other day) the Cherokee Lake dam is overflowing. I wish I could send it all south to FL.

After a long drought and a lot of rain,

WE USUALLY hear of a sinkhole.

Then followed by whose to blame and insurance and people never gonna buy in that village.

Hope not. But know that too will pass.

Probably true, here and elsewhere. I believe the largest sinkhole of the last 5 years was in Baltimore, MD

GG, you can stop the rain dance for now. I need to go to Sam's.

Like everyone else I was concerned about the drought. Having lived in FL for the last 14yrs. one thing I learned to be true. Be careful what you wish for. The rains is coming.

They could call off the watering restrictions, but after 27 years in Florida I have found they never do.

We had 4 inches last night in Amelia. Add to that 3 inches from the previous two days and a grand total of 7 inches. The pond behind us is looking great.

Rain gauge in Pinellas showed 2 inches on Wednesday, and 2.5 inches overnight. Just reset as we are supposed to get some more...

Been here a few months. Craziest rain I've seen. Definitely a hair-raising experience.
