Trump continues to tell us how bad Obamacare is, and how great Trumpcare will be once it is passed. So if this is true, why is it that Congress exempted themselves from that wonderful Trumpcare Health Insurance.

As of 1 January 2014, Members of Congress (MOC) and Congressional staff purchase their insurance through the District of Columbia’s small business health options program (SHOP) exchange, also known as DC Health Link. Contrary to popular belief, Congressional members do not receive free health care. As it does for other federal employees who purchase their insurance through the FEHBP, the federal government provides a subsidy equivalent to 72 percent of the weighted average of all FEHBP premiums.

yes, it is...and it was the Republicans who wanted to exempt themselves from "Obamacare" or the Affordable Health Care Act (one in the same for those too dumb to understand) then it was the Republicans who wanted to keep the legislative members IN the Affordable Health Care Act in the new Republican replacement

I repeat... Why did they exempt themselves?

What exemption? They have insurance. The same insurance they offer their employees. They have a pool of insurance providers to choose from.

But, why is anyone concerned about wealthy people having insurance when it is those that cannot afford insurance that is the issue?
