Rescue looking for someone who would be interested in making pot holders, lap quilts, wooden items, crocheted items, or other things that they would be willing to make and donate to our rescue, Florida Dachshund Rescue.
We saved a little dog who has ended up needing three surgeries....three very expensive surgeries. We are desperately trying to raise the funds to cover those vet bills. This little dog has drained our account. A lot of people will not donate cash, but are willing to buy or bid on items. They get something in return for their money.
If any of you like to sew and would be interested in donating items, let me know. The items that do the best are items that have dachshunds on them or are geared toward dogs, as we are a dachshund rescue.
We are a 501(c)3 non-profit, which means any items donated can be taken as a charitable deduction on your Federal income tax, assuming you itemize. Also, if you have a website where you sell your crafts, we will list a clickable link to your website.
Our rescue was incorporated in 2003. Again, we are a 501(c)3 non-profit. Feel free to check us out. Website: fldr.org. We also have two pages on Facebook....our regular page where we showcase some of our dogs, events, and fundraisers and our auction page.
Private message me if you can help out. Thank you so much.
