The first thing a decent person has to ask, is why is Trump so obsessed with trying to parse his statements to the effect that..."no one can prove I personally colluded with Russia."

Forget the fact that Trump is loathe to criticize our sworn enemy Russia...the real story becomes clearer every day.

1. Trump demands personal loyalty, over loyalty to the country...from everyone he promotes.

2. It's obvious that because of Trump's need to have absolute control over the people who have been proved to have talked/colluded with Russia, they would never have done so...without Trump's personal direction (see point #1).

3. Trump is obsessed with covering only himself and is counting on the absolute loyalty pledge...to keep him from being fingered.

4. Before it's over, those of his own people who will eventually finger Chump (and there will be a few) will be called liars when they admit that he was behind the scenes directing everything and he will immediately throw them under the bus...trying to save himself.

So far, all Trumpsters have done...is to try and parse portions of Comey's testimony.

It's analogous to someone reading the Three Little Pigs and after the line "he huffed and puffed"...then using that to say the wolf had asthma. :ohdear:

Only idiots believe that type of parsing.

Sorry if that bothers you cultists.

First of all, I very seldom drink and this isn't one of those times...as I've simply been enjoying the evening. ;)

Secondly, if I can write this well when drunk, compared to you and your ilk's illogical and desperate ramblings when supposedly sober...that must really, really pizz you off. :D

I am trying to understand your frustations. It is difficult to be in the minority in anything. Especially when we the majority in The Villages have voted in a person who is VERY hard to understand and VERY hard to identify with. With all of his bumblings, his foot shootings, his inability to SHUT UP, his inarticulate communications, his need to be liked, his policies are why he is sitting in the seat. That and the fact that the tea party was getting too religious for many and the weird new world of PC, acceptance of unscreenable and possibly dangerous refugees, the interference into our lives of government and the silly far left philosophy of sounding kind, yet being totally unaccepting of others who didn't kowtow to their thinking was really forcing many people toward the middle and the logical common sense attitude that this country used to have.

These are strange times. Donald Trump is gonna go down in history and time will tell whether this very unusual, but very successful businessman will be a clown or a genius..... but he is no worse than MOST of the glib and sneaky, far better at it politicians that made us swallow a lot of ****.

We will see. We will see.

When I read your posts Cold, I wonder if it is the East Coast in you that makes you so outspoken, the inability to not say things in terms that aren't so unkind. Actually, in today's world, you fit right in, and decidedly you found your niche in this political forum where anonymity emboldens people to attack cruelly and say things I am sure they would never say in a public gathering to another. I am pretty sure you think you are standing up for those bullied and that you are a champion of the underdog. But lots of times you are just a mean person who doesn't have to show his true name to anyone. I think that is cowardly.

Any reasonable person immediately recognizes that kind of defective personality, belongs to someone who is not only an insecure, passive-aggressive bully...but doesn't posses the integrity/ethics/morals to stand up on their own.

Trump is very hard to understand without a doubt. He changes his views so often. Who knows what his views are?

He is asked a simple question. Which was "are there tapes?" I will let you know in the near future. How is that an acceptable answer to anyone with a brain?

There are no tapes. He tried to intimate Comey, and Comey wasn't afraid that there might be. For good reason, it is very easy to tell the truth, when you are telling the truth.

Is Trump that stupid that he is going to win in a test of honesty against Comey? in Trump mind, he thinks he will. He is a party of one. Law firms in NY wouldn't take him as a client. The reason given was he doesn't pay his bills, and he doesn't listen. No attorney in his right mind would let Trump go under oath.

In the past, Trump could lose money by lying. This time he will be impeach, and his reputation ruined forever. However, he doesn't give a damn.

You voted for Trump for his policies. Fine. Trump is morally corrupt, and doesn't give a damn about us. He is looking to put money in his own pocket. He will throw anyone under the bus. We have Saddam Trump as president. Trump really thinks that he is a dictator, but he is new at this. So, we have to give him some slack. If you didn't know what you were getting into, why did you try?

He didn't think that he was going to win. He did, and he is in way over his head.

What did Trump say about Obama's executive orders? Obama was to lazy to try to pass laws through congress. If you compare Trump's executive orders to Obama, Trump is on steroids, and he has both the House and Senate.

Don't worry Trump is hard at work this weekend. Again Trump said he wouldn't be golfing as much as Obama. He is right. He is golfing 10 times the amount of Obama. Is this one of the his policies that you really like?

By the obvious truth, do you mean that the president had no involvement or collusion with the Russians with regard to the election? Do you mean that the president asked Comey to find out if any of his people were involved? Do you mean that Comey has committed illegal acts by leaking government documents? Do you mean that Comey colluded with his former boss, Loretta Lynch in defining the Hillary investigation and a matter as opposed to an investigation for political purposes?

These are some of the obvious truths that I got from that dog and pony show.

What you listed is opinion and speculation, which is pretty much what the Trump haters have been relying on for months now.

It must be very difficult to see al of your efforts going to waste. Maybe you could get in touch with Tiger Woods and borrow some Xanax.

I was not addressed either but am struck that the poster to whom you respond just will not acknowledge a few things.....

First, steadfastly hold that Trump does not lie, which to me is chilling in that, lying is and has been a part of his public personna for years and certainly since he became President.

I certainly do not understand the comment about the poster she addresses as being in the minority. That is very condescending and what it might have to do with anything concerning what is happening in the country or the world is escaping.

This is the part that really sets this aside...."but he is no worse than MOST of the glib and sneaky, far better at it politicians that made us swallow a lot of ****.

WHO ever accused the ex FBI director of perjury ?

WHO ever accused the ex President of wire tapping ?

I might add that these accusations were made on a WORLD stage so the entire globe is aware and laughs at us.

WHO ever will still not acknowledge, despite the entire worlds intelligence community that Russia tried to influence our election and that we are under cyber attack by them.

WHO, in either party by the way, would take questions in front of a foreign leader who is on the front lines of Russian intrusion in eastern Europe and respond to a question which was intended to allow him an opening to let the Russians know how we feel, in a rote fashion without any criticism of them, and he has YET to criticize that country for the fear they have put in their neghbors.

WHO has fired in 4 months THREE justice department employees investigating him or his campaign workers.

I could go on but this particular posters gets irritated if I post too long and there are many more to list.

How she can say he is no worse than any others is well beyond my pay grade to understand.

Never ever have we had a President attack all the good things about our country...the hard working people in our Justice deparTment and our court system and he does it ON A WORLD STAGE which simply deepens the resentment. He is not making anything great...fact is and IT IS A FACT, he is making this country so much worse than ever in this country.

YOU correctly say he is morally corrupt.....he always has been and how these people think he was gong to change after 70 years of serving only he and his family into a public servant is well beyond me.

But again you are speaking to a woman who still will not admit that he lies.....and boy does he ever. He is happiest when he is engaging in tearing someone apart personally. That is his "talent"

Coney said, UNDER OATH, there was absolute, without a doubt there is evidence of his campaign collusion

.

Why don't you produce an exact quote of Comey saying he has absolute evidence of Trump campaign collusion with Russians? He said there was evidence of Russian interference in election, but nothing about Trump campaign collusion other than debunking the NYT article that spawned this rumor.

James Comey debunks New York Times story that fueled unproven Trump-Russia collusion

A major New York Times story that helped spawn the unproven Trump-Russia collusion narrative for months in Washington was debunked Thursday by former FBI Director James B. Comey.

Asked by Sen. Tom Cotton, Arkansas Republican, whether the story was “almost entirely wrong,” he answered, “Yes.”

“The challenge, and I’m not picking on reporters about writing stories about classified information, is that people talking about it often don’t really know what’s going on and those of us who actually know what’s going on are not talking about it,” Mr. Comey elaborated.

Mr. Comey told the Senate Intelligence Committee that when the Times story appeared Feb. 14, telling a story of numerous contacts between Russian intelligence and President Trump’s campaign people and associates, he knew it was not true.

He first double checked with the intelligence community and then alerted both Republican and Democratic senators not to believe the Times.

This must be a total embarrasment to Trump followers...I mean spending time saying this or that does not merit impeachment....what a rousing endorsement of him

But....lets be very clear.....

THE INVESTIGATION INTO COLLUSION BETWEEN THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN AND THE RUSSIANS IS ON GOING. WE WILL NOT KNOW IF OR IF NOT UNTIL THAT INVESTIGATION IS OVER.

THE QUESTION THAT INTRIGUED TRUMP WAS NOT WHETHER WE COULD STOP THEM IN THE FUTURE, BUT WHETHER HE PERSONALLY WAS BEING INVESTIGATED.

THERE IS AN ON GOING INVESTIGATION INTO THE CAMPAIGN COLLUSION, AND AS OF NOW (OR AS TRUMP LIKES TO SAY, 3 TIMES) THERE IS NO SEPARATE INVESTIGATION OR EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT AN INVESTIGATION INTO HIS OWN PERSONAL INVOLVEMENT.

If, in the course of the investigation they find evidence there will be a separate investigation. Why was not that leaked or made clear to the press.....it is called "DUTY TO CORRECT" and you folks who support Trump should know that is why he spoke about Clinton. When the impression that the investigation with Clinton was over was brought out he felt a "DUTY TO CORRECT" and thus had the famous press conference to let everyone know the investigation was not complete.

HE DID NOT WANT TO DO THAT TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES THUS HE WAS NOT GOING TO ANNOUNCE PUBLICLY THAT TRUMP WAS NOT UNDER INVESTIGATION UNTIL HE KNEW THAT TO BE THE CASE.

To twist words is a sign of desperate and above all, totally uninformed people.

You people can twist it and shape it to make yourself feel good but that is the fact of the matter. The claims of ....'oh that was the only thing that didnt leak" is sheer and utmost crap. Frankly that kind of talk sort of gives credence to what people have thought about Trump followers.......USA is second to total and complete adoration of Donald Trump
