I have an old, 20 lbs., natural gas tank. It is too old to be refilled and I need to dispose of it. Does anyone know where I can get rid of this tank?

Not to be picky, but are you sure it is not a propane tank?
Is it empty?

I would contact The Villages Public Safety Dept(Fire Dept)about proper disposal. If the tank has any product at all in it it is haz-mat and needs to be handled as such.

On Rolling Acres road about a mile south of 466 on the left watch for sign is
the waste tranfer point and since it is a gas tank (any type, empty or full) it is hazardous
waste which they accept. Also, paint, chemicals, batteries etc.
