Jack's Solar did a pool solar installation for me and I have an installation design issue. Would appreciate other folks experiences with this contractor.

What is the design issue ?

The design issue is the layout of the panels and piping. The water was not draining out of the panels and it got so hot it actually caused the plastic pipes to bulge popping the hold down brackets out of the roof. Consequently I had a hole in my roof and water leaked in
staining my ceiling. The piping design needs to be altered per Jack's technician and thus I am waiting to have this work done (over a month now).

I know he pays his men by the job, not by the hour. I’m not a big fan of those terms, human nature being what it is. Jack should have checked up on their work as it was being done. Good luck.

Thanks. I am hopeful Jack will come through and fix this problem. I t
hink he has more new installs which is obviously more profitable then fixing old problems.

The solar panel has leaked since installation. Jack sends out his crew they say it is fixed, roof still leaks. Four times. I read on this site that his men are paid by the job. They have no incentive to correct a passed problem.
I hired a licensed inspector to show that the leak comes from the solar installation. Jack made promises but no action. Hope you have better luck with Jack's Solar.
