Overall it was in pretty decent shape except that the greens are horrendous.

So as a golf newbie, my question is what's worse if in bad conditions--greens, tees, fairways...? If you had to choose, what part of the golf course would you want to be in the best condition?

For me...

Greens need to be good and are highest priority
Fairways are next
Tees are least important to me as I can use a tee

Played Okeechobee today. The ambassador said with a smile the course was in good shape so we had no excuses . he was right and it put pressure on me:D

Yeah, Belmont is like putting on cobblestones. They're re-doing the 2nd green. Hope it's the start of doing all of them. They look compacted, even after aeration.
