My earliest remembrances are of fairy tales, notably Andersen's and Grimms. I loved them. I also loved Golden Books of Uncle Remus and Greek Mythology.

My children loved Dr. Seuss, as did I.

Cannot really remember my first books. My Mom said I had a lot of Charlie Brown toys and carried a stuffed crocodile around a lot. So maybe Peter Pan too along with Charlie Brown and Dr. Seuss as well.

The Dick and Jane books of course would probably also be in the mix. Just guessing though.
