Doctor Recommendation

Hi All:

We've been here 4 months now and have yet to find a good Internist! We went to the Family Doctor's of Belleview (Dr Pead) and aside from him yawning during our initial visit, he just isn't our favorite. Does anyone have a Dr they really like and trust that's taking new patients?

I've been using Angel Tafur here in the Villages the past few years...He actually listens to you and doesn't rush you through an appt. Because he suggested a chest xray since I smoked, lung cancer was found very early. Had surgery and no treatments were needed...

I like Dr Jagalur. He is in the medical area off of Canal street. He gets you in on time and he treats you like you are the only one in the office.

I use Dr. Chang on 441/27, opposite Baley Plaza for almost 5 years and I think he is just great. Got to the route of my problem immediately.

My realtor told me about Dr. Gregory Brown in Leesburg. He is an internist--and most other doctor's around here have indicated to ME--that he is the best around. Unfortunately, he ignores his 20 minute alloted time with each person--and so, he is always behind (unless you go first thing in the AM)....I have waited for him before for an hour and a half! But, he took the time he needed to with ME (an hour)....which then put him even further behind. He runs the labs right there in his office--and can usually have the results for you during the visit....

I went to Dr. Pead for nearly a year. He never once touched me with a stethoscope. You know those laptop computers they now carry in with them. The ones with your medial chart of them? Well, when he came into the room, there were football results on the screen rather than my medical chart.

Ditto on Dr. Jagalur. Tried three other internists and I am very pleased with him and his staff.
