This is the famous line delivered by Cuba Gooding to Tom Cruise in the 1996 film, Jerry McGuire. That should be the line of the American people today. Our President has claimed that his healthcare proposal will in large part be paid for by eliminating waste, fraud and duplication in Medicare and Medicaid. If this is true, then do it! Start saving that money today. Show us that it is real. Then come back with a proposal to spend an additional one trillion dollars. If he cannot, then it is time to start over again.

Show us the money before we go forward - then you will have credibility. Until then, there is none.

No government plan or program is without waste and corruption.

For a politician to say they want to eliminate waste is like saying the government will take care of you. Governments have never ever developed a plan that was not filled with waste, fraud and corruption.
