We recently bought a new home and hired a landscaper to take care of our lawn while away. He is doing a terrible, terrible job. I am getting notices from everyone about how bad our yard looks. I need names of a few responsible landscapers. Anyone????? Help!!!

I have a good friend and his son-in-law is starting a lawn care service. Since he is just starting out, I would think his service would be excellant, to establish his referral base.
His info follows:

We have a GREAT guy doing ours.....this is a copy of a post I put on earlier this year...since that posting, we found ouot that a bush was not doing well and Kevin found out and replaced it, so he is still high on our list and he is now cutting our lawn every week...Hope that helps.

We have a new home in Hadley and had a need for a landscaper. We asked our neighbor who has great landscaping. (the neighbor who just had his home painted after 12 estimates and interviews; yes, he is thorough) He suggested Kevin Burke with KB Lawn & Landscaping. We contacted Kevin on his cell phone and he came out the same day. That was Tuesday. Today, Saturday, we are looking at a beautiful yard. Yes, the landscaping is done, at a very fair price and the crew that came couldn't have been nicer. At one point, the swarm of people working numbered 12 and Kevin just circled the house, keeping the ball rolling. We just sat on the lanai, with iced teas and enjoyed the show. Kevin has been in the area for several years. We found him to be knowlegable, honest and accomodating. He wanted no money up front & truly wanted nothing more then to make us happy. Not only did we get a landscaper, we gained a friend. Thanks Kevin, your trustworthiness and good nature will serve you well, as you serve others.

Rmorris, try Sunscape, an advertiser here on TOTV. They are very good, very responsive and they can do almost everything. They even replaced a line of sprinklers that were needed after doing my last landscaping phase. l just love working with them..

I second the motion to recommend Sunscape. Jeff and his guys are really good and have their office right here in TV. I had them put in a couple of HUGE Queen Palms, a couple of hibiscus trees, a slate walkway to an irregular patio, they re-did my water feature and trimmed the whole place up. It looks great. You can't go wrong with these guys.

Do most of you folks have your lawn people also maintain your shrubs and hedges ? What a about the larger bushes and trees.
Thanks.

I, too, have used Stellar for two years. They are the most responsive service that I have ever dealt with. I have a contract with them to do all the lawn service and pest control. If there is a problem, they arrive the day following your phone call to fix it. Their staff is wonderful. Recently Nick and Tony came out to mow my lawn. I told them of several problems that I was having and they fixed what they could and arranged for the other "Stellar angels" to fix the rest. My yard is looking great once again, thanks to the pride their employees take in their work.

We are very satisfied with Landsculptures. Just the other day we got a call from the owner who said our grass looked a little dry. I love the personal service. Check out the reviews at The Villages Florida Full Service Lawn Care & Pest Control Company (http://www.landsculptureslawn.com)

I have been a customer of Stellar, since July 2011. They are the "all in one" company.
Also, I have had total landscaping and patio installation. Very satisfied and great customer service. They offer packages for your needs.
