Looking for recommendation of someone to sharpen my dressmaker's and other sewing scissors. My knives are so dull they hardly cut. Help!

Check with your hair cutter. They usually have someone come around to sharpen their scissors. Just find out the day and approximate time, make an appointment and get them sharpened while you get pretty.

I don't recommend him. He butchered my chef's knives.

Have you ever tried sharpening them yourself? My wife does such a good job she scares me!

My ESPOSA is very sharp with the cutlery if you get my drift. She has a Lorena Bobbitt poster in her sewing room. Enough said. LOL

Thanks for posting. I'd hate to have my precious knives messed up.

I have always used a chain saw file. It does an awesome job on knives or scissors. Leaves a semi serrated edge that is super sharp too. It takes me about 30 seconds for knife or scissors and a chainsaw file costs about $3.00.
