I'll be moving to the villages permanently within the next 6 months and could use a recommendation for a good cardiologist
Any suggestions?

Dr. Georg Couturier is the founding cardiologist at Heart of The Villages, located on Main Street in Spanish Springs. He has several excellent people on staff. The office has an efficient, friendly atmosphere. Dr. Couturier also practices at the nearby Villages Regional Hospital as well as all of the major medical centers in Central Florida.
He became my cardiologist after my emergency admission to the hospital with congestive heart failure. I was so impressed with his personality and professionalism that I continued seeing him for two years after I moved back to Tampa. Finally, he convinced me that it would be wise for me to have a cardiologist in Tampa in case I had another episode.
At my first outpatient visit with him after release from the hospital he spent one full hour with me explaining my condition, the results of testing, and planning my future treatment. I was amazed at how thorough he was.
He speaks with a slight German accent, and is so tall that he unconsciously drops his head to the side when he walks through a doorway. He has an impressive presence.
I suspect that he is so much in demand that if you call Heart of the Villages and do not ask for Dr. Couturier specifically, they might assign you to one of their other cardiologists.
