In The Historic Section when traveling from the Dog Park over the Golf Cart Bridge maybe half way between the Bridge and the Parking Lot look to the right near the pond. There is a new installation there. It appears to be a Solar Device and a Camera and what looks to be a Radar Detector. I don't make the news I just am reporting what I noticed. I took a picture but am technologically challenged. Anybody know what this is all about? Don't dare answer Russian's! :jester: Speed Trap? I'm gonna wear a mask just in case. LOL

I wonder if it is one of the new fangled devices the LEOs put out that help triangulate the area from which gun shots have come. There have been reports on the news of these being deployed for the 4th.

Graciegirl was right. It could be a viagra counter as it showed 102 when I looked at it this morning about 11:18 AM. Not sure what else the number could mean as it seems too low for cars that morning as well as golf carts.

Unless they check it every hour or so. Then 102 might be right for vehicles on Belvedere Blvd. on a late morning hour at 18 past the hour.

They might have moved in to in front of Belvedere Library facing the golf cart tunnel. Three weeks of work now on that access to Southern Trace Shopping Center while they fix the stacking or whatever. It will be closed to traffic then.

Nobody knows, everybody's a buzz. My unofficial guess is still radar of some type based on the speed of carts in the area. When you are coming from the Hospital area to La Hacienda Rec center there is a 10 M.P.H. sign there. They were handing out tickets on Mother's Day morning. Me believes the Coppers have had enough foolishness behind the wheel of everything with a steering wheel. I don't blame them at all. Probably just trying to keep us safe.

When you use the bridge every day your experience is way different than if you go over to try it out for a kick. Overall it's a safe experience except for just after the square shuts down. Whoa! :pray:
