For people who have Priority Pool Memberships, what was your reason for purchasing a membership since there are so many adult pools in The Villages?

I'm not a priority member but I considered a membership at one time because of the food and beverage service available at those pools compared to none at the regular pools.

We have priority golf which includes the country club pools. Not sure if you know this or not, but these pools are not adult only. Priority members can bring in guests, which can include children. I only mention this so if you purchase the membership you are not disappointed if you see children there.

Correct me if I'm wrong but as I remember off the top of my head the country clubs south of 466 do not have pools. There must be a reason, no?

Mallory Hill, Cane Garden, Havana, and Evans Prairie all have pools.

Thanks, I've played golf at all of those clubs and never noticed their pools. So, Palmers, Belle Glade, and Bonifay south of 466 don't have pools.

We are moving down in January (bought our house this February - Yay!). We are considering priority golf membership - interested in both the golf and pools. Do all of the country club pools have food and beverage service?

... Do all of the country club pools have food and beverage service?

This is what I have found...

The Villages Country Club Pools (http://www.golfthevillages.com/pools/index.asp)

Hacienda Hills - "... The Tiki Bar located at the pool is open to everyone and features all types of cold beverages as well as hotdogs and other fast foods."

Nancy Lopez Legacy - "... The Oasis Pool Bar is an added attraction for your food and beverage needs."

You're welcome. Those you noted do not have pools. I don't know why not, I guess a space issue. Palmers has a driving range, Bonifay has a big practice area, etc.

Also Orange Blossom pool has a patio and the bar is accessible from the outside for food & drinks.

We bought a priority membership because our neighborhood pool had a well-established and unwelcoming clique.

We have our own pool. We always have priority. No village pools in our village.

My wife and I golf all the championship courses and it is covenant to have the pool right there when you're done if you want to cool off and have an adult beverage.

When we were priority golf, one morning we went to Evans Prarrie pool with coffee. We were told not allowed to bring coffee or anything else. That we had to purchase from their restaurant. Even though it was early and the restaurant was not open. That was our first and last priority pool visit. That was 4 or 5 years ago. Is that rule still in effect?

not all have pool side food and drink. We bring our own for those pools. The pools that do offer food and drink you are only to bring in water.

We don't golf but like using the pools. Can you just get a priority pool Pass? How much is it?
