Got Jim Miller's name out of the Sun Classifieds.

My brand new Mustang GT got dinged 4 times , in my own garage , by my wife :cus: and her PT Cruiser.

The job he did was incredible. About 45 minutes. He drilled a hole in the rear of the driver side door frame, under a piece of rubber molding. Then used a long tool to reach back to the fender well. Repair is near perfect, and he used a little rubbing compound to clean up the paint. Finished with some black paint on the edges of the hole and capped with a rubber plug. The cost was $75. :coolsmiley:

He just works out of the back of his mini van, which did not have any business signage. I was a little concerned at first, but he did seem to have all the equipment to get the job done. He used a large light stand to highlight the dents. His work was very professional and complete.

His numbers are 352 357-2132 or 913 406-6190.

First, she didn't understand what the big deal was, they were just little dents. :ohdear:

Second, she said she was sorry. Wasn't that good enough.

Third, I acknowledge that the first ding might have been an accident, but the next three?

I have been stewing about this for a few weeks. I couldn't open the door without looking at the dents. Thanks to Jim, it is now out of my mind. :mademyday:

All is well now. The wife is out West visiting the grand kids. I am not going to say anything about the fix, just to see how long it takes her to notice it. ;)

The Dent Repair guys are great. I have not used the one you have mentioned, but have used several through-out the years. They are terrific. I also use the Bumper Repair Guy, and touch-up paint guy. I learned about all these from a Dealership when getting my car repair and they put a small scratch in my wife's car years ago. These guys typically work and travel from Dealer to Dealer on a daily basis. They do the repair work on the vehicles that usually happens in transit. They charge hundreds less then body shops, and the repairs are sually done while you wait!
If you have not learned of this trick versus the Body Shop you need to. Just call your Dealer and see who they use.

I just got a major door dent in my car (thanks, whoever it was) and I tried to call Jim with the number I have (352-357-2132). I also have used Jim Miller in the past and he is great. However, the phone number is no longer in service. Does anyone either know how to get in contact with Jim, or have another person they recommend for paintless door ding repairs that will travel?

Used this one for two of my cars. Great work. Recently did one of my neighbors, same result. Works out of Ocala and comes to the house.

Some times difficult to get a hold of but be patient. He'll call back.

After searching the internet, and even contacting someone who did this
but got out of the business, I managed to find Jason Rewis at Florida First Dent Repair (352-978-1997) - http://floridafirstdentrepair.com/ Jason came to my house on a Saturday morning and did an excellent job removing a door dent on a back panel of my car, in a curved area which can often be much harder to smooth out. I highly recommend him. He is out of Mount Dora, but he says that he is in The Villages about 3 days a week.

I used Jason from Florida First, He was fast and efficient, when he was done, I was amazed, no sign of the dent at all. I highly recommend him.
