Here is a rare interview with Glenn Dennis who was a mortician at Roswell in 1947. This interview took place in 1990. Grab a cold beer and listen to what he has to say.

There are many interviews that were conducted 25 years ago. They wanted to get them on video before these people passed away. Now they are out there forever. Body language is important in all of these interviews. Most people can see BS when they see it. But all of these people do seem genuine in what they are telling us.

About CSI

The mission of the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry is to promote scientific inquiry, critical investigation, and the use of reason in examining controversial and extraordinary claims. To carry out these objectives the Committee:

Maintains a network of people interested in critically examining paranormal, fringe science, and other claims, and in contributing to consumer education

Prepares bibliographies of published materials that carefully examine such claims

Encourages research by objective and impartial inquiry in areas where it is needed

Convenes conferences and meetings

Publishes articles that examine claims of the paranormal

Does not reject claims on a priori grounds, antecedent to inquiry, but examines them objectively and carefully

The Committee is a program of the Center for Inquiry, a nonprofit educational organization. The Committee was launched in 1976. The Skeptical Inquirer is its official journal.

Some of the founding members of CSI include scientists, academics, and science writers such as Carl Sagan, Isaac Asimov, Philip Klass, Paul Kurtz, Ray Hyman, James Randi, Martin Gardner, Sidney Hook, and others. A list of CSI fellows is published in every issue of Skeptical Inquirer magazine.

CSI, encourages careful, rational, critical examination of unusual claims. One of the best guides is a short piece by Ray Hyman, a professor of psychology at the University of Oregon, titled “Proper Criticism”.

When you take into account an infinite number of stars and the recent revelation there are an equally infinite number of earth like planets and couple that with the passage of billions of years, how can there not be alien life somewhere, sometime. This does not even take in to account the possibility of a multiverse which postulates an infinite number of alternative realities. The likelihood of intelligence developing and a species surviving its " formative " years ( the propensity to want to kill all members of the species who are different in some respect ) and then developing the technical capability to travel the stars seems to be a very remote probability. Humans would still be in but the " infancy " stage in that respect. All species also presumably come to an end. Considering the vastness of the universe and the passage of time alien life might once have existed, might exist, or will exist that will know of our little planet but the probability they will ever interact with our civilization I believe is infinitesimal. With all of that said, they will no doubt be landing tomorrow at 3:00 PM EST.

As I've said previously, it is silly to think that we're the only life forms that exist in all of the cosmos and the likelihood that there are aliens from 'somewhere'...is extremely high.

However, until such time as incontrovertible proof is provided, peer-review is performed and there is a consensus that we have (and are) being visited by an alien race (races?)...I'm going to have to withhold my buy-in on whether anyone outside this rock has stopped by to say hello. :ho:

If actual proof of a Roswell or other visitation actually does exist, it is hard for me to believe that 'the government' has been able to keep a relatively tight lid on it all this time.

I do believe though, that publicly stating such could create a world-wide panic on a scale...that has never heretofore been seen on this planet.

I mean cripes, if a nutjob with a gun can go to a pizza parlor based on an obvious lie that a child-prostitution ring was being run out of it...what do you think would happen if it was acknowledged that alien races were among us?

Just imagine how fast the rumor that they are 'shape-shifters' and can look just like us would produce panic never before seen...and humans start killing other humans with the excuse that they are 'one of them.' :ohdear:

Not to even mention, the upheaval in the worlds religions...who believe we're totally unique.

PS. And what's up with all of the anal probing...by those purporting to have been 'abducted?' :D

To me something akin to Ebola that has no known cure would be a bigger source of fear than a visitor from another planet.

Why would some one/thing be here? To harm us? What would be the motive?

To someone superior to us we would appear as a bunch of ants busily building our colonies and unless we bite them, why would they care about life on this planet.

What would each of you do personally faced with a spaceship landing with green people? Would you travel? Would you go to church? Would you kill yourself? Would you wait and see?

The General Accounting Office, the investigative arm of Congress, did a search of Government records in 1995 in order to determine if the "Government" at any level, was part of a coverup of the Roswell incident. GAO investigators with the highest levels of security and intelligence clearances accessed and reviewed archived documents, met with military and intelligence historians and queried the National Security Council, the White House Office of
Science and Technology Policy, the Department of Energy, the FBI, DOD, and the CIA.

Check out what new government agencies were formed in just a couple of months right after Roswell. The CIA was one of them. All files pertaining to this event would be purged or sent into a site without any chance of being discovered. Black budgets were later used and this started the unacknowledged special access programs.
