It's time I had my eyeglass prescription updated and probably get new glasses. However, I haven't found a first rate optometrist. It would also be very helpful if the office had a very good selection of quality frames and lenses.

I'm NOT looking for the shops that offer "exams from $49 including two pairs of glasses from the value line and an eyeglass case all ready in 20 minutes." Clearly I'm being facetious but, you know what I mean.

Can anyone make a solid recommendation? It sure would be appreciated.

I go to Dr. Julie Beckwitt at Ocala Eye. They have an office at Laurel Manor office area. She is wonderful. I have never had as thorough exam as she gives. And, she'll take all the time she needs to with you. I highly recommend her, and I think anyone would like her.

We have been most pleased with Dr Ritz in Belleview. Always on schedule.

Thanks to both of you for the referrals. I'll be sure to check them out.

We mature adults need to take good care of the old peepers. You can get hurt if you can't see where you're going. You might even get stuck with the lunch check.
