I put this in the Political talk cause anybody living south of the Boarder will think this is waste of money and don't need another rec center in District 3 and 4 and something different to pound on besides the normal Trump and Hillary bashing. Something to spend the lawsuit Money on that will actually benefit residents in district that was short changed, a prefect location for Rohan quality outdoor facilities for the north IMO:wave:
But District 3 and 4 has been crapped on by building in district where only two centers are located with over 8000 resident that has to travel 3 to 5 miles to get to next rec center. Santiago or Saddlebrook. Savannah center don't count Unless you add facilities like at Mulberry IMO.
Marion County residents have been crapped on by the new building with no rec facilities added when shortage was build years ago due to Glenview and Lopez, (so were not talking Golf course here) but that private developer money maker which costs way above Amenities Fees IMO
No other districts has to travel that far. Majority south of the 466 can travel less that 3 miles with 3 or more rec center options. Ok now all you that live in districts 1, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. can unload how this is not needed cause it don't serve you IMO.:024:

No, I do care because what happens to you as a village resident could happen to any of us.
Have you brought this to the attention of the Amenities Advisory Board?

Consult your dictionary to see the difference between "BOARDER" and "BORDER".

Another RecCenter is a good idea, period.
There is a deficiency of RecCenters to the ratio of residents and it gets really bad when the snowbirds are in town.
