Annie ran away on Saturday, she was reported found on Sunday and turned over to the Sheriff since Lake Animal Control was closed for the weekend. She was taken to the holding area just off of 441 and the street that borders Oakwood BBQ. We went to meet the Sheriff to retrieve her but in the meantime she had slipped out of her collar and escaped under the fence. On Monday someone reported seeing her near 466 and Rolling Acres.
We still couldn't find her. But today, Tuesday, Annie found her way back home. What a happy reunion! She was filthy, had burrs in her fir and was hungry, but now she is home. What a happy reunion. We are still very amazed that she was able to find her way back. Thanks to all that assisted with the search for Annie including Lady Lake Police, Lake Count Sheriff and Lake County Animal Control. Happy Days!!!!!
