How long has it been? Mulch does bio-degrade and needs to be replenished. Preen helps some.

Now during the rainy-growing season even heavy pebbles as ground cover will have some weeds. Little.............ba..bad things.

We just used James Moore to do our mulch. He also does a full variety of lawn maintenance work. His number is 352-800-0623. He's a hard working, dependable, nice young man.

They only kill sprouting seeds. Many of the weeds-essentially plants in the wrong place, do not grow from seeds. Your grass for example grows from sylons. Sylons, if I spelled it right are runners. With St Augustine they grow on the surface. With Empire Zoysia they grow below ground.

If, anyone is interested that closeout place Ollies has loads of preen on sale. They also have exactly the same product under the miragro label and that is even cheaper.

NATURE-hates a vacuum. Neat bare beds that we insist on is a dare for NATURE.
