In looking at previous posts on doctor recommendations, I saw some favorable reviews of Dr. Dinesh Khanna at Premier Medical Associates. Based on this I called to make an appointment as a first time patient. The earliest that I can see him is late November. I asked the person who was making the appointment if I were a regular patient who had a problem if it would take as long and she said no but she seemed to be pushing me to establish a relationship with one of the other doctors in the practice who could see me earlier.
Since I have no pressing health needs right now, I went ahead and made the appointment with Dr Khanna. However, before waiting over 2 months for an appointment only to be disappointed with quality of care and/or its timely availability, I thought it might be best to re-ask the question about him (and his associates).
Would you recommend Dr. Khanna? Why or why not?
If you had an issue that involved a specialist, did Dr Khanna stay involved as the "quarterback" of the team?
How long do you have to wait for an appointment if you are ill?
Has anyone had any positive/negative experiences with his associates?
Thanks for your input.
