Research - Levin College of Law Levin College of Law (https://www.law.ufl.edu/library/library-information)
I would call the U of Florida Law Library if I had a legal research problem. I do have law librarian training (JD '89 and MA '84 in Librarianship) but that was 25 years ago and more. Things change quite a bit in legal publishing especially online. There are some areas that do not change that much but others that change quickly.
The Law Library of Congress has a lot of links to many subjects. Guide to Law Online: U.S. States and Territories | Law Library of Congress | Library of Congress (http://www.loc.gov/law/help/guide/states.php)
Comprehensive Index of Legal Reports | Law Library of Congress (http://www.loc.gov/law/help/legal-reports.php)
Various law school and some law firms also have various guides to subjects in the law. Securities Law Overview :: Justia (https://www.justia.com/banking-finance/securities/) Securities Law Blogs - Law Blogs, Legal Blogs Directory & Search Engine |
Justia Blawg Search (http://blawgsearch.justia.com/blogs/categories/securities-law)
And Findlaw is also a very good resource. You will get help from people familiar with topics.
Forums - FindLaw Answers (http://boards.answers.findlaw.com/)
For example check this out for a kind of overview of a legal topic -- http://estate.findlaw.com/trusts.html
